So I’ve been working hard behind the scenes for my story and have decided to re re reboot yet again. I know I’m terrible but I have some new ideas for the story and my art was atrocious. Anyways, I’ve already updated on WEBTOON and today I’ll be working on updating “Dreams of You” to “In Your Heart”. Thanks for being patient and for still reading <3
Howdy! So I completely forgot we can post updates on our profiles here so... I uploaded the Remade Episode 2 for Dreams of You! It came out pretty Awesome.
Welp my job has been crazy this week so I haven't been able to work as much as I want on the comic. However, I have Friday off so that'll give me extra time over the weekend!
It is taking much longer than I thought but I am doing 40 pages at once instead of 10 at a time.
So... line work is coming along well for chapter two and I plan to finish it today after I get off work in less than two hours as of writing this.
After that I’ll upload it to Patreon and begin coloring!
I also have a question to ask;
Do y’all prefer 1 long weekly updates or 3 bite sized updates a week? For instance a Friday update with 10 pages or updates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with 5 pages each.
Either schedule will give me enough time to work on the next chapter with a week break in between (updates won’t pause).
Let me know what y’all think and if not I’ll do a compromise of two medium size updates a week Monday and Friday, 5-7 pages.
I personally prefer the longer episode once a week but it’s not like the smaller all week would affect my decision to continue reading... I know that I tend to wait out post til I have several to read if the short ones bother me too much (honestly I just have too many subscriptions and miss the updates... it happens on the longer ones too 😂) but in all reality the best choice will be whichever makes you comfortable... I have seen too many artists burn out... please pick what you like I promise we will keep reading 📖
Thanks for the reply/advice! I think I have a problem of wanting to get my work out asap and as a reader I hate waiting weekly for updates. I should try to separate that from my working so I won't burn out like you said. However, the number of pages per week for each schedule would be the same. It's just sort of savoring the food instead of swallowing it all at once. So say a 10pg update Friday vs two 5pgs on Monday and Friday or even the three 5 pg updates which would be 15pg for the week.
