Six years ago today, Splitting Image started right here on Tapas!
Far from the ideal since I've been this long without starting a new chapter, but I've revamped over half of the comic now (updates to chapter 2 soon!) AND I've even made a small print run of the Portuguese version!
The best way to celebrate was to redo some of the first art I've ever made for the comic.
(if you've been following me long enough, you've probably seen Mortimer and his kids soundly sleeping before!)
Back then, I didn't have much help, and it was kind of rough. But now, I've made so many friends, and have so much support!
So, thank you for reading, even during this situation! Here's to many years in Splitting Image's future!!

Hello everyone! Just a short update as I promised after my last fully new page :D
The Splitting Image revamp is now up to Chapter 1, Page 30! (the old page 24, cuz now the start's bigger, and oh god Chapter 1 is so big now)
I wanted to go a little further this year, but there was some computer trouble right on my last free day. All I could do today was put up what I did so far, and hope it'll get faster once I'm past the files that still have rasterized lettering.
Thank you for still sticking around despite the still continuing break, and wishing you all a good, safe 2025!

Early but needed announcement today everyone, I'll have to skip next week's page of Splitting Image;; it's another bad wrist week, might've pulled something at the gym, but I couldn't make good enough progress yet and I'd hate to rush a page like I did back in ch2. See you in October!

Well, even though I didn't make a campaign this year, I still got tons of support from friends and readers on day 1 of Inksgiving already! As it's been every year, I can't thank you all enough ;_; this might even help cover some usual end of the year expenses that I'd use the day job for!

Hey everyone, just a small update - only on my wall because I don't want to make an update for this.
Because of my hiatus, still owing one of last year's rewards, and the current state of free ink making (thanks, Tapas), I'll not announce an Inksgiving participation. It'd be a bit weird to stop my hiatus just to ask for donations for something that'll get delivered sooo long in the future.
Rn, I'm happier doing these new scenes + the Fangs extra, and I hope I can share them with you soon! Have a Mortimer halloween sketch, on the house.

Hey everyone, sorry for the sudden announcement. I've been having trouble managing the comic updates these last three weeks - not the pages themselves (thank the winds for buffer), but actually posting that they're happening!
Because of this, I decided to extend my already-planned holiday break to take up two weeks instead of one, meaning Page 19 has now been delayed to January 3rd. I'll try to see if I have something nice to make up for it after Christmas, but because of the holiday rush and some work stuff that came in short notice, no promises.
Still, I'd like to thank everyone who's been reading and leaving comments even in this end of year. It's been a rooough November and December for artists, so I'm still ever thankful for all the love <3
