SupportHi! I'm J. Brenton Parker, an amatuer writer with big dreams of someday being a professional writer, so I can continue avoiding getting a "real" job (i.e. the kind you need to wear pants while doing).
I've been writing semi-seriously since I was about fourteen, though writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My niche is fantasy, from sword-and-sorcery to contemporary dark fantasy; though I've been known to stray into the realm of science fiction on occasion.
Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Jonathan L. Howard are my idols, so if you enjoy the works of any of those authors, you may find some interest in my works.

To all Twisted Tales readers: I might be on a very brief hiatus until after July 4th. I've got two four week courses to the work load is double, and I'm just not seeing where I can squeeze in enough writing time to get two chapters a week up. I'll try to produce what I can in the meantime, but updates will be a bit sporadic this week and next. But I'll be right back on track after that, and it's only going to be two more weeks of failure from me! That's not to shabby!

My laptop died on me, and I don't have access to my TT manuscript right now. I have a replacement on the way, it SHOULD be here by Friday, so I'm hoping the Friday update will come on schedule!

That is why i back up everything in gdocs
@Shay, my dad is pretty sure he can help me get the files off the hard drive, so I think everything will be okay! Fingers crossed!
@Lord Lacroix, hahaha, you'd think I'd have learned that lesson by now, since this is NOT the first time this has happened. I did fortunately do a complete backup of my laptop earlier this month on an external hard drive, but I don't have access to Scrivener right now, and I'd written an extra 15k words for TT since then that didn't get saved. Yikes... Honestly, I just need to write in google docs, and then save to hard drives internally/externally afterwards instead of the other way around!

I'm only four subs away from reaching the 100 Subscribers milestone on Twisted Tales, and that's super exciting for me!
I am aware that some authors and artists will offer exclusives, rewards, perks, etc etc. for their readers for special occasions.
I have absolutely no idea what I could possibly offer that anyone would want, but 100 subs will certainly be a special occasion for me.
Is there anything anyone would be interested in seeing as a special extra that I could produce? Character sketches? A side story? A map of the route Rikki will take on her journeys?
I don't know, throw any suggestion at me if you have them.
