Hello everyone! as you could see, Chibi Aixa finally closed its first season. I'm very happy we made it this far and we have some big news for the future, especially for the english readers.

First of all, during July we'll be taking a break, so you won't be getting any new strips, since Kirael, who draws the comic has to focus on other project, but don't be sad because we are coming back with a bang!

By August we won't be coming back with the regular strips, but instead we'll star the "Chibi Manga", wich will be a more proper manga about the adventures of Chibi Aixa!, meaning, it will be in the same tone and continuity as the strips, only in a more manga format instead of the webcomic strips. We'll probably release the whole episode once it's finished, since its not designed to be read 1 page at a time.

We'll probably make a different comic page here on tapas for the chibi manga, so it's not dificult to find for new readers, but we'll let you know in the strips page when an episode of the Chibi Manga is out, so you don't miss out.

And finally! the most uber important news!
Since the beggining, Aixa was a proper manga, the strips started as a way to promote said manga, wich we had a publishing deal for Mexico. We didn't mention it here too much, since english speakers wouldn't be getting it, so... there wasn't much point to it. But plans have changed!

We ended up the publishing deal for many reasons that turned out over the years, and we have decided that Aixa's main Manga will be made available online for free (and hopefully we'll try to find some publisher to make a physical version on demand at the very least.) So you guys in the english side will be getting it too!

This will be a proper manga with a more serious tone, the chibi version is suposed to be an exageration/parody of this main manga, but you'll find this to be more in tone with things like Madoka Magica. (Continues in comments)

The idea is that the tone is somewhere between Madoka and Card Captor Sakura. neither as sweet or cruel as either of those. So it will be a proper story with some twist and turns that are very diferent from the chibi version (tough some things will be very similar too). I hope you look forward to it! we will most likely put it up here on Tapas and also on pages like webtoons, so we hope we can get your support since making it available for free will be a huge effort on our part.

Hopefully we'll be able to get episode 1 finished by the end of the year, so its just a little bit of waiting! Thanks for everyone for following us so far and we hope the english comunity of Aixa grows up from now on!

Hey guys, sorry for the delays with the Chibi Aixa's strips, sometimes I'm busy with other stuff and can't find the time to translate the strips on time.

Mainly, I don't really know if anyone is reading on English, we have a good community going on the Spanish side, but since I get no feedback from the English readers, I often forget and get these delays. I'm sorry for that, I don't want to leave the readers we do have in English without the comic, so that's why I keep translating them even when it seems nobody is even reading, but if you can, please make your presence known, a like, a comment or something would do. Just to let me know someone's there at least.

It seems Aixa just doesn't resonate as much with English speaking audiences as it does with the Latin American one, maybe our relationship with magical girls has been different since things like Card Captor Sakura didn't impact the US too much. But it seems at least some of you still like the strips, so I'll keep bringing them to you as much as I can.

Anyway, for those of you who are out there, thanks for reading! and I hope to see you soon.

Hi, it's that one english person that occasionally bugs you on FB, Amberlea. I wanna say I appreciate it and I love Aixa! Even if it takes a while sometimes, I'll still read. I'm just not very vocal a lot of the time and I don't interact with people or give feedback. But I'm here, lurking as always <3
