Hey Hi howdy! I'm Josephine, but feel free to just call me Jojo! I'm a college student studying Writing and History that happens to write stories in my free time! Most of what I write is inspired by various fairytales but with a spin inspired by various horror genres (i.e.- Gothic, folk, psychological, etc), but I also enjoy writing historical fiction/fantasy. I also dabble in doing doodles of my characters every now and then!

So!!! It feels crazy (for me at least!) that TMATB is coming to an end. :') It's been a fun ride sharing this story with y'all - but the journey with this story is FAR from over! I cannot wait to put this story away for a bit and return for even more drafts to really polish it up!
AND!!!! I've a new project in the wings that I'm excited to share with you all! "Temperance & Mr. Wyrm" is a body horror-romance novella with magical realism elements set in the 1980s featuring an autistic protagonist and TONS of snake imagery, and I've been chugging through finishing this story's first draft the past couple months. I plan to start sharing this story online sometime around late summer-early Fall, but I shall keep you all updated!! Hey, y'all!! Mini writing update!!
I've been working on a draft for a new novel (a psychological thriller that has werewolves and snippets of horror!), so I've not really been giving all that much attention to TMATB, unfortunately. HOWEVER!! I have gradually been chipping away at TMATB, though I'm afraid I won't be able to post a new chapter for a hot minute. (work and school are AAAAH and i started an internship at a newspaper so HHHH even more busy!)
But before then I really hope to have a new cover and thumbnail for it, since both are super outdated and uhhhhhhh to put it bluntly I hate them lmao.
SO!! keep an eye out for a new cover/thumbnail (hopefully) soon!! (i just need to find ideas hhhhshhshshshshssh RIP)-

Hey everyone!!! So major announcement regarding my upload schedule for TMATB. I will now be posting new chapters BI-WEEKLY (every other Sunday), as due to my busier summer schedule I've fallen behind severely when it comes to writing and editing new chapters. Sorry about this kind of negative update, but I just wanted to let yall know!!

Have also started getting back into developing my short story "Mrs. Maturin"! It's a simple historical fiction novella based on events surrounding Joseph Merrick, AKA, The Elephant Man, and this is a story I wrote all the way back in high school and am super excited to remaster! I think I might make this my main summertime project depending on how far I'm able to get on TMATB, but we shall see!

Within the next couple days I hope to publish the draft of my short story "The Vampire of Shadowed Castle" here!!
