So, now that it's January, the hiatus is over. I am officially working on The Heir again. If I'm being honest, I'm very close to abandoning it. The only thing making me work on it again is probably that one person who religiously reads my book each time a new chapter is out.
Who am I kidding, that person is me. Nobody really reads it.
I'll admit, I'm doing it for the characters. They need a proper ending. I can't leave them alone, and they'll always be in the back of my mind.
It's really difficult to be honest. I can't figure out what was going on in my head in October. So yes, I'm confused. Also, I have a WIP that is much more interesting. You could say, I don't really like this. I actually want to write romantasy, but no. I can't.
I'm just rambling at this point. To sum it up, I'll just tell you to look out for another chapter this month. My NaNoWriMo goal is very disappointed.
I wanted to inform the people who actually read my stuff, that my abomination of a story, "The Heir" will be on hiatus till January.
This is because I have exams this month. I'm also doing NaNoWriMo for the first time this year so yeah. November is also an important month at school, as I have to prepare for two big programmes on December 1st. After a few more tests in December, I'm taking it easy. I will continue the story on Jan 1.
I have two series ideas, but I don't even know the plot. They're linked to TVF but happen in other places in the timeline. Whenever I get around to writing them, they'll be better than TVF because there are a lot of mistakes in it. Initially, while 11-year-old me was writing ASN, I didn't plan for it to become a trilogy. Maybe I did when I almost finished TFtG.
I just need to hope for the best. The Heir won't be done by tomorrow, like my mother says "Rome wasn't built in a day". These are ideas for later, and I hope those ideas will grow up to be a series one day.
