SupportAt the tender age of 13, I realized that there are some very, very fortunate people who write down their daydreams. And that is how they earn their living. That's their job.
HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!
So I decided I wanted to be one of them. Of course I immediately started my adventure as a novelist and wrote a two-book series. Legit, full-length novels. Then I wrote another one. Because I wanted to be a novelist, not a short-storyist, you see. Whoever said to start with baby steps, didn't know me.
Because I want my stories to reach as many people as possible, it’s gotten to the point where I write more in English than in my mother language. Also, right now, I can have the opportunity to write full-time, for a limited time. I've set up a Patreon, in hopes that I can continue to write full time and deliver interesting chapters to you every week! <3
I mainly write romantic fantasy, and I’m very interested in Japanese, Korean and Celtic folklore and culture. I love myths and my stories usually reflect this. I hope you enjoy reading my stories!

You've probably seen the news that tapas is shutting down. I'd love to keep in touch with you. Here are ways to keep updated on my books, my cat, and other stuff happening in my life:
https://kategrove.net/en-eur/pages/contact
You'll see links to my newsletter and various social media.
I'm currently working on book 4 of the Yokai Treasures, Foxfire and Lycoris. The first book was published here first, Sword and Mirror.
Some of you may remember The Snow King, which was also published here. I plan to rework the story a little bit (after all, it's been 12 years since I first published it!), then re-release it as a special edition hardcover. I haven't shared this plan with anyone yet, so you're the first to hear about it.
Let's connect on other places, my newsletter, or the social media platform you feel most comfortable with. I truly adore every one of you. I might've gotten rid of the Sword and Mirror chapters when I first published it on KU, but I still have your comments saved on my hard drive. They are a source of strength when I'm struggling. So please, let's keep in touch :)

Thank you.
And I have 404 subscribers (but fear not, the story is available!)
