Nup, it was drawn by this young lady I found through this youtube show we both like. She sent the guys, like, keychains and business cards. I thought "those are super cute!" and so I contacted her and we talked about the show and junk. At the time I didn't have an avatar/icon, so I asked her if she could make me one and even told her I'd pay. When she finished she told me it was a freebie, so, yeah! The only thing I did differently was add the green background to the picture.
Oh, and you really should consider making a comic! I feel your art style would be pleasant.
