I am a writer/illustrator residing in Michigan with my wife and two children. For the past twenty years I have worked for a t-shirt and home goods printing company, but have been spending my nights drawing comics, illustrating children’s books, and painting pet portraits. My first leap into the comics creating world was my webcomic OCEANVERSE, which was collected through a successful Kickstarter campaign.
WATER RACERS developed out of playtime with my two kids. Having grown up with a steady diet of kid graphic novels and Japanese tokusatu shows, the story that came from their minds became a rather unorthodox animal. We focused on a secluded group of kids and the worries they face each day - why do I sometimes feel like an outsider, even among my friends? Will they judge me even when I do what I think is right? When can I be old enough to make my own choices and make my mark in the greater unknown world?
