Hey everyone! Murillo here.
I’d like to share some info about the comic we’re working on.
It’s called The Ghosts of Wintercrest Manor, and it takes place in an abandoned mansion in the town of North Berwick, Scotland.
For those who don’t know, North Berwick was the site of one of the earliest witch hunts, led by King James VI between 1590 and 1592.
Our comic explores a bit of this dark past, following a modern-day journalist who is assigned to cover the sale of an infamous mansion in the area.
The script was inspired by works like "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie and "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow", along with some manga influences that shaped the art style.
The story is 100% original, created by me (Murillo), and digitally illustrated by Mairon, with absolutely NO use of artificial intelligence.
I’ve shared a promotional poster, a simple timelapse by Mairon, and the first page of Chapter Zero here for you all.
We estimate the comic will be around 250 pages long, as a single volume, which we plan to release for free on Reddit, Instagram, Tapas, and Webcomics.

Quero divulgar informações sobre a HQ que estamos criando.
Ela se chama Os Fantasmas da Mansão Wintercrest, e se passa em uma mansão abandonada na cidade de North Berwick, Escócia.
Para quem não sabe, North Berwick foi o palco de uma das primeiras caçada às "bruxas", comandada pelo Rei James VI em 1590-1592.
A HQ vai explorar um pouco esse passado tenebroso, quando um jornalista da nossa época moderna é designado a cobrir a venda de uma infame mansão da cidade.
O roteiro foi inspirado em algumas obras, como "E não sobrou nenhum" da Agatha Cristie e "Supergirl - Mulher do Amanhã", além de alguns mangás que inspiraram o traço.
A história é 100% original criada por mim (Murillo) e desenhada digitalmente (Mairon) sem absolutamente NENHUM uso de inteligência artificial.
Postei aqui para vocês um pôster convidativo, uma timelapse simples do Mairon, e a primeira página do Capítulo Zero.
Estimo que a HQ terá por volta de 250 páginas, sendo um volume único, que iremos distribuir de forma gratuita por aqui no Reddit, Instagram, Tapas e Webcomics.
