I'm still so thoroughly confused at how popular Epilogue of the Brave got with such lackluster prose. I can't read through the version on here without cringing into the first dimension. And how am I STILL getting subscribers?
Anyway... That aside: I'm still hard at work on Epilogue of the Brave. As you all know, 2020 was a pretty hectic year for most people, (me included), so it was a little difficult to work on finishing EotB.
Even so, I'm still working on it. I'm not sure how many of the old readers are still waiting for new episodes, (I'll assume it's not many, however if you're one of them, all I can say is: Thank you so much), but rest assured, you'll get the rest of the story by the end of the year.
To all of my... I dunno... Fans? Do I have fans?
To all of the people who have read my work and want to read more:
I'm rooting for the return of the story, but take all the time you need. Better to have it later than announced than having you getting burnt out or overworked or other things like that.
Update on Epilogue of The Brave: It should be completed by the end of summer. I haven't abandoned it, it's just on hiatus until I finish it. It's going to be quite long!
For those of you who are interested, I've started a new series because I'm kind of bored of writing fantasy and I wanted to try my hand at horror. I think the first episode turned out really well. Please read it and tell me what you think!
The "I'm Not Dead" Q&A: Please ask any questions you have for me! I'll start!
Q: "Why haven't you posted a new episode?"
A: I'm completing the manuscript to send it to Tapas to (hopefully) make it a Premium series.
Q: "When will the next episode come out?"
A: I don't know, but I highly doubt you'll have to wait another whole year.
Q: "What can we expect from you in the future?"
A: If it all works out and I can write full-time, I have dozens of story ideas. Some are single, standalone novels and others are full, multi-novel series.
Thank you all for your continued support and I hope to answer more of your questions in the replies!
I apologize to all of the new (and old) subscribers of "The Linguist in Another World". The series will not be updated for quite some time. I am preparing to pitch the series to Tapas to make it Premium. Part of this means I will need to submit a completed or near-complete manuscript. I will still be posting, It will just be part of a new series. The first chapter will come out soon, so stay tuned!
