I must admit I think it's pretty nice too! I mean, I often get this feeling that when RP gets mentioned as an inspiration, people start rolling their eyes like "ew, that's going to be all porn without plot stuff," or like "50 shades of Gray, I see you coming..." In this regard I sort of want to make this series the best I can to show that, yeah, RP can be good, have a plot and an interesting story. It's just what you make it into, and there can be bad and good RP like for just anything else. Of course we're doing a fair bunch of editing, because some parts were played a bit more awkwardly that others and need some fixes, but overall, the base is pretty good.
Exactly! A friend and I were contemplating on making a roleplay into a comic, but roleplay stereotypes just got in the way. I honestly don't see why people mix it with cybering and whatnot, since some RP's don't even have any form of sexual content within it. I started writing at a young age, and I thank RP's for getting me far enough to become an author. I'm glad you've decided to make it into a reality, though! Where did you meet your comic partner, if I may ask? Your relationship is beyond adorable, and admirable to say the least. :)
Well, I suppose that RP can be a way to cope with lack of partner for some people, or with lack of sex for some in long-distance relationships, or a form of sexuality itself for people who are mostly asexual but still enjoy sexual fantasies for the sake of them! I think it can be all very interesting in this regard but then, it's true that fantasies do tend to be ah. Unhealthy. That's what most fantasies are, I guess, an outlet for the mind. But true, not all RP is sexual, really.
And Zikul and I quite fittingly met ...on a RP forum. The funny detail, though, is that we never RP'd together on said forum, but we talked a lot in the chat box (it's amazing Zikul found me interesting because I'd rant so much about The Elder Scrolls lore, like the true nerd I am). Then we started chatting on skype too and became super friends, and started to RP away from the forum's rules so we didn't have to restrict ourselves and could go for the nerdiest plots. Then I realized I'd fallen in love at some point, shipped him a love letter and chocolates, and nervously waiting for a reaction for quiiiite a while until I dared to ask if we were dating or not. It was like, super awkward because we basically both didn't know when our relationship actually started xD So we decided to use the date I wrote on the letter as official start.
