I’m still alive — now under a new alias. Sorry for the long silence and for not updating the comic. So much has happened over the past six years: broken friendships, the pandemic, years of being the family scapegoat, freeing myself from a toxic environment, getting married, and moving to another country.
I went through deep depression and burnout, but thanks to my husband and new friends, I’ve been finding my way back — staying healthy, creating again through vtuber activities, small animations, and TikToks. It feels good to rediscover my creativity.
Recently, I learned that Tapas will be shutting down. Don’t worry — I’ll be uploading the Atzin webcomic pages to DeviantArt, still free to read. I do feel guilty for not producing more comic pages, but life doesn’t always go as planned. I’m learning to accept what I can’t control and keep moving forward.
