Hello *taps microphone* Is this thing on? Why hello there! So I've been on a hiatus for a couple years now because I've been going through some stuff. Well I finally got the labels I needed to get the help I needed (oh how I hate labels, but sometimes they're needed) so finally the fiction writing muses are chirping in my head again as I start to stabilize. I think I'm almost ready to start writing. Though I'd start off "easy" with just flash fics instead of novels.
What I'd like to know is...is there anyone still out there waiting for me? I am trying to decide if I'm going to just write for myself or if posting online again will be an option (assuming I actually finish something because I won't post online if I don't finish anything LOL) just the fact I'm even considering writing again is so amazing considering where I've been for the past couple years.
So yeah... are you there? Do you care if I write again? Do you even know who I am?

So I really haven't been around much at all, but I wanted to take a moment to wish all who celebrate it a Merry Christmas and happy holiday for whichever you do celebrate.
I unfortunately still haven't started writing again but I think I've finally got other things back on track in my life so I am very hopeful I can get myself back to where I need to be to work on the next Draygon book. I at the very least want to wrap up Siobhan's story for everyone who has been so loyal to me while I've dealt with my personal issues and gone silent.

Working on bringing the rest of Draygon Inferno to Tapas. Being unemployed in a COVID world definitely sucks, but hopefully I'll be able to get the final 16 chapters loaded onto Tapas before I struggle mentally again. Thank you everyone for the patience.

Thank you. Treating it like a vacation has helped for a bit so at least I have more energy to get the rest of my Draygon Inferno chapters on Tapas. I think I'm going to go crosseyed from all the resumes I've sent out though LOL

Ahhhhhhhhh I hit 250 subscribers on Guardian of Calandria to unlock support on Tapas! This means so much to me.
This year hasn't been good for me, as I'm sure for many of you it hasn't been good as well. I'm struggling with my self confidence to continue my writing and I know a lot of that has to do with the thin mental line I'm currently balancing on in my personal life. When everything else feels like crap it's hard to push through self confidence issues. So getting this small glimmer of joy in an otherwise gray murky pit of nothing means the world to me.
So thank you to everyone who has subscribed and to everyone who has read the two books I've brought over here from Wattpad. No matter what happens from here on out, I'm dancing on clouds right now.

It definitely took a while to get there. I seriously sat at 245 for months LOL I'd lose one then gain one then lose two. It was frustrating to watch for sure LOL
I hope the fires stay away from you! I love the Drayton series! Is book 3 also planned?
I can't say planned because I never plan anything, I just write LOL But there will hopefully be a third book. I got it started but I'm still struggling with writing anything so I haven't gotten far in it at all.
Tomorrow will be the last day for daily updates to Draygon Inferno. After that it'll drop down to twice a week, Tue & Fri. I have through Oct 13 loaded and ready to post and am still trying to get the rest set up but I keep getting distracted by multiple fires burning near me, darn real life! I'm not in any danger myself, but one of them is by where I grew up so it still has a lot of personal meaning to me so I'm keeping tabs on it.

Today I'm having probably the best mental health day I've had in months. Like I haven't had this much clarity and peace in a long while so I'm going to ride this wave and start working on getting Draygon Inferno chapters loaded to post onto Tapas.
I don't know how long this feeling will last, but I give this promise...if I start DI on here, I will finish it on here no matter how I might be feeling. Hopefully I can get enough chapters loaded before I crash again, but I will finish posting it over here.
