The potential return of Papercut will be around March of next year, which is when I will have finished a big project that has been in the way 😊
I am still working on today's page, so it will be a little late, thanks for your patience~!

Hello, fellow robot fans~
I am announcing this Monday there will be no update for Papercut. My mother-in-law is in her deathbed and not only I am planning on giving her and the rest of the family my time, but it is affecting my capacity to work.
Thank you very much for understanding. I hope to be able to update the Monday after next, in time for PC's 2nd anniversary ♥

After chapter 02 is finished, I most likely will be taking a small hiatus to rewrite and redraw both chapters! 2-3 weeks. 4 weeks at most!
It won't be something huge, but details for atmosphere and clarity.
Some concepts related to the lore will also be adressed much better now that they were developed further behind the scenes.
There's no need to reread the series to understand moving forward if you don't want to, so don't worry about it. Motivations, goals and the plot direction remain the same, it's all about execution.

Hope you guys don't mind spiders
The revised page count for 'Run-of-the-mill paper' will be... 76! I shortened it by 8 pages, and incoming scenes are more packed now~!
After that, we will start chapter 03 'Scritta'!!

The remaining Papercut script is easily in its last stages of development, which means I might have the exact lenght of the comic announced soon! Exciting, ain't it?
And alongside that, I want to mention I'm working on a new story!
It's in very early stages by now, but I can say it will be black and white, or with a limited palette, and will be in the monster collection genre.

I think I might shorten Chapter 02 a little! This might translate into me skipping an update day while I redraw thumbnails, but no more.
Just a headsup!

Digital strips made a little and amazing podcast on Papercut!!!

I keep having trouble posting my comment, so I am going to copypaste here as a thought-share, and so I can send it to Digital Strips later
'This is awesome!!! Thank you very, very much for checking my webcomic, even when it's just started.
I was so excited to hear all your thoughts! This is my first narrative work after many many years of wanting to write a story and not being able to (The typical 'A story I want to write' but never sitting down to it), and just hearing someone remember my character's names alone is such an amazing experience. And not only that, your takes on the story's themes, and what's to come~ Now, I shouldn't go around spoiling, of course, but if I had to say something, I'd say both of your's predicted directions for the comic are pretty good! But I wouldn't say 'spot on'. Not just yet. I think and hope the incoming plot will be a bit more rich and complex than you expect, and for good!
I also was excited to hear the critiques! That's how you improve, isn't it? I'm going to keep them in mind. I'm defintely more of an illustrator than a comic artist, so I am going to keep working on that.
Once again, thank you very very much! Papercut is a slow comic but I hope you keep enjoying it!
Also it is a pipe. If that's actually better or worse than a human leg might be up to you ( ̄y▽ ̄)╭ '
