I have another short story posted in "In Unsafe Hands" and a third scheduled.
I forgot to mention that I posted a fantasy short story yesterday. You can read it and other fantasy stories completely for free on my Medium blog.
A cursed princess uses forbidden magic to summon a friend and ease her loneliness.

I have finally created a new series for this years series of prompts for Whumptober 2020. First up is a short called "Past Mistakes."
A man wakes up shackled in an unfamiliar room, and a father comes to "question" him.
Here's the link:

There's a chance I'll post the finished anthology on Amazon, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

I have published a 1000-word story about a goblin who doesn't know how to goblin and comes across the most beautiful creature he has ever seen.
It's called "The Misfit Goblin," and you can find it for free on my Medium blog.

The graphic is not one I'm wholly happy with, but it was the only one I found that was not nightmare fuel.

I can't believe it myself, but I've stopped playing FF7R long enough to actually write, edit, and post a short story.
It's a superhero fantasy story based on a prompt I randomly came across.
"In a world where Powers are taboo, Hanna saves a fellow homeless superhuman, and she shows her the way to her new home."

Sorry for two updates. I hadn't realized that all of my crappy files were too big to upload on the site, and I couldn't change the sizes on my Kindle.
All projects have been updated with the full book covers, not that it really matters much right now. Most of them don't took anywhere near as good as I would like them to, but that's just how they're going to have to be for a while.
And enjoy my cat Cleo sleeping in the cat toy box.

I disappeared from the Internet again, and so much has happened since the last time I was here, I almost have no idea what to say. I hope you're all staying safe and trying to stay sane. We're a family of essential workers, so I'm worried we're going to get it, especially after learning that my asthmatic cats could potentially get it in addition to some particularly vulnerable family members.
Anyway, I came back to add actual book covers to my stuff on here, but apparently I'll have to shrink them because the files I have on hand are too big, so that'll have to wait until I have access to my laptop.
One actual update is I am planning to put up a story based on MerMay 2020 prompts, but considering I'll be getting Final Fantasy VII Remake soon-ish (later than everyone else because I ordered it off Amazon), I probably won't finish it until after May.
I never came back to show off my third cat, Cleo, but I'll have to shrink the file size for that, too. I don't know how I avoided the size limit with the other cat pictures because they were all taken on the same phone.
Stay safe, everyone! I hope you're doing well!

We’ve almost reached two full weeks of NaNoWriMo, and I have a mixed bag of news.
I feel like someone punched me hard in the center of my back, which makes laying, sitting, and walking all very painful, and I don’t even know what happened. It’s not the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my back (that privilege belongs to the time I sprained my back muscles), and even though it’s not easy for me to get into a creative headspace, it’s not impossible.
I am at the very least doing better on my word counts. I still have a lot of catching up to do. My urban fantasy story is at 8,085 out of 50,000 words, and most of that is going to be deleted as soon as November in over because I can get really rambly in the wrong direction.
What has everyone been up to? I’ve been watching a Let’s Play of Death Stranding. I don’t think I’ll ever buy it or play it, but the story is interesting so far. The setting is amazing, and setting is probably my second most important aspect of any storytelling. I’ll forgive a lot of nonsense if it still has an excellent world to have the characters run around in.
I'll have a lot more complaints up on my blog soon, but I thought I would drop a picture of a sleepy Orange Juice.

Hello again!
I'm trying not to disappear from the Internet for months at a time, so I'm going to proudly boast about how amazing I'm not doing at NaNoWriMo right now.
Technically I've been hitting my goals just fine, but not for me urban fantasy.
Because I am incapable of sticking to one thing at a time.
With all of that said, my lazy buns have finally posted about it on my website. The blurb is different because I just now changed my mind on the races of the character. I also talk about what inspired me to write it (hint: I've been playing God of War recently). The link is below:

As penence to the NaNoWriMo gods, enjoy a picture of a sleepy Salvador.

Happy Halloween!
I decided to take the time to go back and edit an old short story of mine called "Witch" (super original title, I know). It was a lot of fun going back and seeing how my writing style has changed since I wrote it.
Anyway, come see it:
Seira wakes up on the verge of becoming food for the giant amarok, and her only way to escape is to summon the ancient demon, breaking her promise to her grandmother to never unleash such an evil upon the world.
