I used to work in technology (SQL mainly) but I was only so good at it. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and every day was an immense struggle. Now my amazing wife makes enough money for me to be able to work at home: keeping the house in order, drawing comics, launching a t-shirt store, and playing with our two dogs, Obi and Leia!

Impossible to wake up in a bad mood!
I've wanted to start up this comic for a long time, but for some reason I cannot make my hands do that thing people do that results in what's known as drawing. Happily I've now learned how to use Inkscape and this has opened up a whole new world for me.
Making these comics is more like sculpting than drawing, adjusting lines and curves to get the desired result. In fact, the rough drawn element is added in at the end (so if you don't like feel free to say so, it can be gone with a click!)
Here's my process, starting with a very rough hand sketch to plan out the frames, then building up the detail bit by bit.
