While the final date of Tapas has been announced, World Breaker Novels will remain until the final month the site is available! We have a handful of people who read our stories here, and we don’t want to take that away now!

Everything is prepared for the Tapas Finale release! Since I don't know when exactly Tapas will shut down, I'll play it as if it isn't happening next week, so Gluttonous and Techromaster up to their current release will be available all next week for free!

I saw the news about Tapas shutting down this morning. This isn’t the first site that I've posted on, but this is the one that I post little written works to, which will slow down the creative output a little.
My graphic novels will still be available on Globalcomix, but I'll have to figure something out for the written books. It will be a bit of a transition, but we will continue somewhere out there as soon as we get things situated.
Before the official shutdown, we'll try to do another event to show all of our work here one last time. All of our graphic novels will be published for free for a brief time, allowing our last whoo rah is a good one.

I'm gonna be posting a small little snippet of a story on here soon. Someone posed a challenge on Twitter to write a short story about someone with less-than-average super powers doing something heroic and it got the creative juices flowing.
Maybe I'll make small stories like this into a series as a collective space. Maybe I'll go back and make full stories about these if I like them enough. Who knows? That's part of the fun!

Quick question, since this site is much more interactive than the others I use.
How are people feeling the graphic novel format? Is it more convenient to get a full story segment in 120+ pages? Would people prefer 15-25 page comics/manga?
Personally, a graphic novel is tame, it's cheaper than comics (both for me and the people who pay to read them,) and it allows me to release them in segments, rather than waiting for a full comic book to be drawn before releasing it.
Not trying to sway opinion here, but that's how I see it. However, I'd like the opinions of the readers. If anyone has anything to say on the topic, I'd love to hear it.

Maybe for the first release, say of Techromaster, since you already have that finished, try releasing both and see which one does better. Give people their options.

I've been thinking about it a lot, and I think my solution will inevitably be to create a comic separate from my main graphic novel universe.
While it would be tougher to add a third story to the lineup of things that are already being worked on, I think that would be easier than to recreate an already completed work in another format. Especially since changing Techromaster now would effect the future of the whole universe since all of our graphic novels are tied in together.
If I can manage to get these stories to fund themselves, then I may backtrack on the idea of just remaking all of the current content into comics. Until then, I'll only test the waters with a new story that takes place outside of the main series.
