My name is Christopher Cancel; born in the Bronx, New York and raised in Newark, New Jersey. I'm also the writer, artist, editor and creator of the web series "My Life as an American Hero"; a story about four sisters whose goal is to end the era of terrorism.

My interest in art and writing started years ago when I was four years old; I became interested in art from my grandma when she used to color on her coloring books. When I started 6th grade, my class worked on an assignment called "Picture Prompt". It was then when my interest in writing started to develop. Over the years I continued writing stories for fun until I went off to college where I took a photoshop class and did a group assignment and worked on a comic. Soon after, I started reading web series online. That's when my interest in creating graphic novels became my sole passion and what led to the development of my web series.

I recently graduated from Bloomfield College of Montclair State University (Formally Bloomfield College) in May of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts and Technology with a concentration in Game Development/Design. Afterwards, I went on to Full Sail University where I graduated in October of 2014 with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. My dream goal is to adapt and turn my web series into an anime.
