Some afterwords after finishing MAOR act 1:
(excuse me if it's not written well)
It’s been 5 years, and 7 chapters.
As I recall the early years working on ‘MAOR’ (which still feels oddly recent to me), it was a blast! I knew I was creating something special and very endearing to me, and the notion still remains! Now, around 160 comicpages, that’s about a manga volume worth of content and it's something to be proud of! However slow updating my comicpages might be, my focus is always not to hash out quick for viewability, but to treat every page like a published manga page. I believe that quality effort will draw in long-term readers, even fans.
While the first act is complete, It’s not even reaching one-fourth of the whole story, and it’s only going to get harder like drawing the pagoda and the interiors in the next act. I will need to level up my art skill a bit then.
As for what future lies about my comic... well, I’m still healthy & willing! So please not to worry about the next story arc, they’ll come. Though I can’t promise the whole story, but fret not, getting a thick official volume printed is my longing goal so I will sure keep on going. For now just 7 chapters is not "meaty" enough to be enjoyable, it needs more. So I, and hope you too, will look forward to the next story act. It’s going to be challenging to make!
