Hi!
I'm MagusofChaos, or just Chaos.
I'm a lifelong writer with 2 finished novels (in progress here) and a lot more on the way. I mostly write urban fantasy (or contemporary fantasy) and paranormal.
I'm also a crafter. I like to crochet, sew, embroider, and I hand bind books.
If you're curious what I'm up to, check out my Tumblr, Facebook, or Instagram.

I've just heard the news about Tapas shutting down. I'll keep posting here until that happens, and if you want to continue reading my stories, you can find me at https://linktr.ee/MagusofChaos
If you're a writer looking for someplace to share your novels, I recommend diarmi.com. It's new and small, but it's dedicated to fairness for writers, and there are no tiers or subscription requirements to get paid. Payment is divided based on how many people read your story.

Hi! I'm back from vacation, and I plan to start uploading a whole new novel on Monday! Updates will probably continue to be Mon/Wed/Fri.
Hi everyone! Thank you for reading Dead Ward!
I'm going on vacation, so I'll be taking a short break here, but don't worry. As soon as I'm back, it'll be with a whole new novel!

Hey there's a Tapas award called the Inkies, would it be okay if I nominated your story? I'm not sure what you would get as a prize, maybe just your story promoted on the main page, but I think your story is award worthy and I'd like to nominate Dead Mall!
That is so sweet of you! Yes, it would be okay and thank you. I really appreciate it.
Hi! I'm so sorry it's been a while since I updated Dead Ward. Real Life has been intruding upon my writing time, and the next chapter has fought me like a rabid weasel. BUT! I am nearly finished with it and it will be up by Friday.
Hey, is it okay if I give your Dead Mall story a shout out on one of my story chapters? It's a crime against humanity that more people aren't reading your story, and I'd like to get more eyes on it. Dead Mall is AWESOME! I can put a link to your story in my Authors Notes at the end of a chapter and a screen shot of your thumbnail at the end of the chapter content. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to put the link and the thumbnail both in my Author's Notes. Sorry! So would this be okay with you? I don't want to do something that would make you feel uncomfortable.
I would LOVE it if you gave me a shout out. I'm sorry I waited so long to reply, non-writing life caught up to me this month. I appreciate all your comments, even if I don't reply. Thank you SO much for sticking with my story!
Okay, I set it all up! Your shout out will come out Friday May 22. It will be at the end of my Extra Bodies episode. I thought it would be smart to put it at the end of an "Extra" episode because they're short and people are more likely to read to the end and see your shout out. I hope this helps more people find your story!
Thank you! I'll be sure to check it out!
Hey, just checking that I got this right. Book 1 is Dead Mall, Book 2 is Mercy's Price and Book 3 is Dead Ward in your series? Or are Dead Mall and Dead Ward their own series?
Dead Mall is the first book, and Dead Ward is the sequel. Mercy's Price is its own series. Sorry, I'm still new on Tapas and I'm not sure if there's a way to number book series.
Yeah, I'm still trying to figure it out too. I used to have my second book in my series as a separate book, but too many people were reading it before the first book so I ended up just glopping them together in a single series listing. So far so good.
