Hey guys! We decided to take a couple weeks of break for the holidays. (and for me resting up from CTS surgery!) We'll be back next week as usually scheduled :)
Hello everyone! It's been a crazy year for us all, hasn't it? I have a thousand excuses, everything from being immunocompromised during a pandemic, to physical therapy, to officially diagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome, but I won't bore you with all that. I want to continue working again! I hope you'll bear with me while I figure that out. We love all of you, and we can't believe you've been following Memento that long in hopes of another page. Let me know if you'd like updates like this or if you'd prefer to just see the goods when you see them. I hope everyone is being safe, and please let me know if I can help brighten your day.

Sadly no comic this week - Ashlan is battling a case of pneumonia. Hopefully, by next week she'll be well enough we can pick up the schedule again!
Looking back on 2018, we find a tempestuous year filled with amazing heights and terrifying lows. With all of that, though, we find it more important to focus on the things to be thankful for, and we feel from the depths of our hearts like we really couldn't be more grateful to each and every one of you who read our comic. I know we still don't have many readers, but from the beginning, we've agreed that if Memento makes a difference to even one person - if it changes their life or validates them, or literally just gives them a small amount of enjoyment, that will be all we could have asked for. To see so many more than that reading it fills us with joy.
We're thankful we were able to start pursuing conventions and the incredible experiences we've already had, even though we've only been able to attend two. We're eternally grateful that we were able to open our Patreon, and that there are already incredibly generous souls who are trying to help us live our dreams and make art happen.
In the coming year, we only hope that we will be able to keep the pace we've set for ourselves, and that is where most of our effort will go. We hope to advance our goals and get closer to being able to dedicate more of our time and energy to Memento.
This post is already approaching novel-length - which I (Ellen) am very good at doing - and so I will conclude it by saying that if you are interested in supporting us into the next year, we do have a Patreon with tiers that start as low as $1 a month, and rewards that span from exclusive art and private chats to free merchandise!
One last huge, resounding, sincere thank you to each of you lovelies. We hope your year provides you with at least as much happiness as you bring to us.

Today is a very important day for us. Today is Memento Vivere's 2nd ANNIVERSARY!! To think back that two years ago we were just starting this wild project, that we were taking our first baby steps to sharing it with the world, is a wild concept. Life has thrown us some vicious punches since then, on both a grand and personal level. Knowing that we had Memento and you, our dear subscribers, to come back to was a beacon of light during those times.
We're not as far along as we'd like to be by this point, but it's with joy and determination that we rededicate ourselves to this project, starting with the launch of chapter 2! We hope you're still along with us for the ride, and to show our depthless appreciation for you all, and as a celebration of launching chapter 2 on our 2nd anniversary, we're hosting the very first Memento giveaway, with an exclusive charms set and prints!
