This account has been created by a small team of artists working together on a web comic series. Our series is called "The Adventures of BaBa Bhalu" and we hope you will check it out and let us know what you think.
Our team consists of Stephanie Chateau of Orlando, FL., currently residing in Brentwood, TN.; The mysterious Arjun X from London, U.K.; and Heather Scott of Orlando, FL.
Stephanie Chateau takes up the penciling, inking, foreground coloring, and character costume design. She also brainstorms and co-writes with our groups’ main storyteller Arjun X. Chateau takes inspiration from various visionaries and innovators such as Walt Disney, Shigeru Miyamoto, and Nikola Tesla. A fan of edutainment in a plethora of forms, such as the "Where is Carmen Sandiego?" series, “Reading Rainbow,” and the Jurassic Park Discovery Center at Universal Studios (where she worked teaching about dinosaurs for five years). Most of the work in our DeviantART Gallery will be Stephanie's concepts, line art and coloring with Heather sometimes helping color backgrounds and both Heather and Mia digitally enhancing Stephanie's hand drawn/colored art.
Arjun X is the pen name of the enigmatic creator of the character Baba Bhalu (AKA Swami Bhalunath) and his adventures. He is also the main writer and director of “The Adventures of BaBa Bhalu” series. "Arjun" loves to create narratives that educate, uplift, and inspire. He believes that creativity is one of the strongest forces we can use to make the world a better place for future generations.
Heather Scott serves as the team’s background and spfx colorist and web designer. Scott has always loved independent press comics and comics in general. Heather also publishes her own comics independently at www.dragonmun.com
Baba Bhalu is on a temporary hiatus while we prepare the print edition for debut at the Dragonmun Studios table during Small Press Expo (http://smallpressexpo.com)! More information on that can be found at http://dragonmun.com/SPX
Additionally, the website seems to be down for some reason. Content mirrors for it can be found at the following links, while the comic is conveniently located in the series menu here. :)
Thank you for stopping by! This is our off-site mirror and direct-delivery system for Baba Bhalu and related stories. :)
We will be updating this account in conjunction with the website, so you may subscribe to the comic here if you like. Just be aware that fun things such as character profiles, the art gallery, and the glossary of terms can only be found at http://bababhalu.com
