Hey everyone!!
Since Rainette reached 4K followers this week, let's celebrate with a "Draw this in your style"!
I posted the ref pics on my Twitter. You can share the result there under the original Tweet, or send me a DM on Tapas or Twitter if you are shy ^^
Have a nice day everyone!

Hi everyone!
I’ve got a few comments lately on Rainette complaining about the font size, and that my comic is hard to read on a phone.
I totally understand the complaints and I knew from the start it wouldn’t be comfortable to read, as sometimes you have to zoom on some panels to read my comic.
I also think I never truly explained on Tapas what Rainette is meant to be, and that’s part of the problem.
Before Rainette (and since 2006) none of my comics where published on the internet before being printed. I always printed them right away as original content zines, and in French only. But around 2013-14, as my current comic was reaching it’s end, I started to think about what I would do next. I had Rainette idea around this time, and at first, as my previous series, it was meant to be directly printed as a book. As I thought further about the themes I wanted to address, I understood Rainette was a comic I would have loved to read when I was the same age as my characters, and I planed to talk about many things some parents refuse to address with their kids. It then felt more and more important to make this comic free for those who couldn’t afford it, or couldn’t ask their parents for it.
And so… In 2015 I started publishing Rainette on Tumblr, 2 pages a week, whit the idea that it was just a way to promote this comic to those who wanted the physical version later, and make it accessible to those who couldn’t afford it.
BUT, it was never meant to be read on phones. Back then, the Tumblr app was a huge nightmare (and I think it still his?). My pages were drawn to be printed in A4 OR to be read on a computer screen! It’s only when Tumblr started to sink into what it is today that I decided to move on Tapas «just in case » but without more thoughts put into that move.
Now. I understand that Tapas is a website AND an app, and that most of you use your phones to read webcomics and webtoons online, but Rainette wasn’t created with that in mind. :/ (End in comments)

Hi dear Rainette readers! I was supposed to get out of hyatus today, and I could have, but I'm deep into a pro deadline right now (+my teacher work) and I could only finish 2 pages in 2 weeks :/
A good friend of mine (and also color assistant on Rainette... so she knows exactly where I am in my pages account) told me that I looked very ready to overwork myself again. Haha. Soooo... I'll just give myself one or two weeks more to have more pages ready, and come back then!
I'm very sorry about that, I really wanted to have the shortest hyatus possible, but it's not worth it if I overwork myself.
See you very soon!

Hi! Sorry for the late message but I preordered Bite you Bite Me a while ago and got it safely. But then I forgot to thank you for the wonderful book and now I feel awful. 😢
The book was really nice and I enjoyed the extras very much. You even signed it addressed to me which made me feel really happy 😊. And the little bat was a nice touch as well! Keep up the amazing work! I’m looking forward to future comics!
