Hey all,
It's been about two years since I've made any updates here, but I figured I'd clarify a couple things going forward;
About a week ago I posted a handful of comic pages for The Shuffler's current chapter. These pages are actually ones I simply forgot to post here since they've already been on the main comic site for quite some time. This gave the impression that I have returned to the project, as I posted them without further context.
To re-iterate the post from two years ago, I will not be continuing this series past Episode 09. I've barely made a dent in the last set of pages for the remaining half. If I do update this comic again, it will be with the conclusion of the chapter, and I have no idea when that will happen.
I do apologize if I raised any hopes, but the comic's status has not changed.
I do have a new comic project in the works, which will take a VERY different direction from what The Shufflers was, but I still need to determine if Tapas will be a good fit, or if I should go fully indie and promote it on it's own webpage.
Until then, thank you for the kind words of support and encouragement. Take care!

Greetings readers,
It is with great sadness to announce that after I finish Episode 9, The Shufflers will no longer be updated. You can read the full post on the official site here; https://theshufflerscomic.com/
I just want to thank you all for the amount of love and support you shared with me over the seven years of this comic's production. Maybe one day I will return to this series with a fresh pair of eyes and a renewed sense of direction. Until then, thank you all for sticking around and reading along. We will meet again someday!

Greetings, readers;
As we move into a fresh new year, there are some important things I'd like to address with the current comic;
Last year I fell behind on updating the series, on account that I ended up moving to the west coast, and settling in with a full time job. I managed to conclude one episode and barely started another.
In the later half of the year I announced on Twitter that I will abstain from brute forcing myself from updating once a week; With my new schedule and taking care of a place on my own I just couldn't manage it that way anymore. Instead, I would update the main site whenever I had three pages finished, and to Tapas when I had a total of six.
At the very end of the year, it was brought to my attention that my skills have been stagnating. They have been for awhile. When I look at the old pages and I can't help but cringe. So...if it hasn't been apparent now, I will say it here;
While I spend more time re-calibrating, The Shufflers will remain on indefinite hiatus. This doesn't mean I am putting off any work with the comic. (In fact, I have up to 15 pages of rough thumbnails completed.) It only means no updates for awhile, and I am going to take my time making it more presentable for the near future.
Thank you all so much for your support. I say it every time, but it always brings me joy whenever someone takes a moment to let me know their input, that they enjoyed the series, etc. Despite being my own worst critic, It makes me genuinely happy knowing that the readers are enjoying the work and sharing with others.
Again, comic is not dead. Still working on this episode and I even have some smaller bits and pieces ruminating in the pipeline. Keep your eyes out for updates on Twitter and the official webpage. I'll see you all when I do. Please take care and stay safe!

Hi BitterMause, how are you doing?~ I finally finished moving/cleaning my room to take a clearer picture. This is my welcome back drawing for you. Hiddenite is my favorite character. I hope you love it as much as i love your story.
THE SHUFFLERS UPDATING ONCE AGAIN:
Hello, all! As of last week I started updating the webcomic once more. The update schedule will remain the same as before; once a week on the official website and Tapas will be updated five complete pages per update. Since I am still slowly wrapping up moving and adjusting to my full-time schedule, once a week updates may not always end up on a Monday. But regardless, I am happy to say that it feels good to get back into the swing of production! If you don't want to wait for five new pages to update on Tapas, you can go here instead! http://www.theshufflerscomic.com

EXTENDED HIATUS:
Hey everyone! Last month, I put The Shufflers on a brief hiatus and planned on updating again on the first week of January.
As it turns out, I've been accepted for a full-time job in CA and will be leaving on the last week of January. Until I can get settled in, The Shufflers will remain on the shelf just a little longer. Thank you all for your tremendous support, and take care!

Hey all!
I now have an open link to my Ko-FI page. With the way Patreon is operating, this may end up being my primary tip jar until I can figure out a more streamlined alternative. If you like the series so far, feel free to drop in some loose change! Every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated! Just be sure to click on this little image on the bottom right corner with every update. Cheers!

As 2018 draws to it's end, I would like to thank every single one of you for supporting The Shufflers in your own way. It has been a very interesting transition to Tapastic, but I am thankful to see so many readers sticking around for more updates and story development.
I also wish to thank Yuki for giving their time and energy to help improve upon the artwork and scenarios of each episode. Without them, this series would fall harder than lead.
So please stick around, as I will do my best to entertain you all in the ominous year of 2019!

For those who use Twitter often, I made an official account for The Shufflers! This will be used as an alternative to Tumblr, where you can receive updates and notifications on the web comic. https://twitter.com/The_Shufflers
Hey everyone! I uh, guess I'm a little late for making an introductory post ain't I?
My name is Emily, though most people just call me by my online handle. Either or is fine! I've been dabbling in web comics as early as 1999 and tried my hand at a couple of series in the earlier 2000's. I started on The Shufflers back in 2014 and since then I've been updating it once a week every Monday.
The comic's main website, http://www.theshufflerscomic.com is currently under construction, which is why you're seeing the latest updates here!
I also archived a good chunk of the previous episodes on my Smackjeeves mirror, if you would also like to check out the rest of the series; http://theshufflers.smackjeeves.com/
I would like to update The Shufflers on a permanent twice a week basis, but unfortunately my comic production schedule is limited due to my day job. (and I can't just forfeit my hours since I also have bills and an upcoming loan to pay off.) In order to help me reach that goal without losing financial stability, I have a Patreon account you can check out and support here: https://www.patreon.com/bittermause.
Also, a lovely round of thanks to everyone for faving and following my work here! I look forward to entertaining you further with The Shufflers!
