Hi! Was hoping to post S2: Ep2 (part 2) tomorrow, but I want to double check that it fits the new content guidelines over on Webtoon so it'll probably be sometime next week that this ep will actually go up, so sorry!! Especially to y'all Tapas readers, I feel bad that bc of WT y'all will need to wait longer for this ep :') Also! here's some old art i didn't seem to have posted over here! Hi! Firstly, ICYMI I posted the 1st ep of S2 of BTCT yesterday! Yay!
Second, I’m hoping (may be a bit ambitious 😅) to update every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Hoping at least monthly tho! ! I’ve decided (for the time being) not to have a patreon or monetize BTCT in any major way, mostly bc it's always been too stressful 😬🥴. I have a disability, so I have to guard my energy carefully 😅 Because of this, i do unfortunately have to prioritize the work i do that Does pay. But I love this story and characters so much, and I really appreciate all of your readership. My goal is to try to finish the story, so it may be slow going for now, but i do hope to have consistent updates going forward 🙂
Third, I hope to finish the Q&A ep soon! I was too inspired to work on S2 eps 😅
Lastly, there’s a new vertical cover for BTCT! I like to think the Prince tripped *purposefully* this time, knowing his handsome and gallant Hyun-tae would not fail to catch him 😉

Hello everyone!! Just wanted to pop on here and announce that the MULTI MEDIA version of Beneath the Camphor Tree is now available on StoryCo! (link in my linktree!) (I'll still be posting regular episodes on Tapas tho, don't worry! This is just another way to read (and hear!) the story!) With character voices, sfx, music and more, I'm super proud of how the first chapter turned out!! (also I'm hoping to return to Tapas with Season 2 of BTCT this September! Hi Everyone! I just wanted to pop over and let y’all know that I’m currently working on the second to last episode of Season 1 of Beneath the Camphor Tree 😱🫨🤩✨ It’s honestly so wild and exciting that I’m almost done with production on this season! And then to start season 2 😏
I wanted to know which y’all would prefer:
Weekly but shorter/split-in-half episodes? (max 25 panels)
OR slightly longer but posted every-other-week episodes? (possibly 40+ panels)
I also just started a new comic! (I had started a web novel a few weeks ago, and have since decided that I’d rather make it a comic) So once that’s ready to post I may have to switch back to an every other week schedule (for both comics) in order to manage creating two comics at once 😬, so the weekly update thing is most likely temporary.
Anyway! Comment whether you’d like shorter/split episodes weekly (for the time being) or to stick to the every-other-week but try to make the episodes a bit longer/full?

Hi everyone!! There won’t be an update this weekend (Trying to build up a longer buffer of episodes over the next month or so) but I wanted to know if y’all prefer longer weekly episodes OR shorter bi-weekly episodes?
One of my (hopeful!) goals for 2023 is to make longer episodes. One piece of feedback I've gotten on BTCT is that the story is moving very slowly. I don’t want to necessarily speed up the story itself and rush things, but I think if I made the content “go by faster” by including more story per episode, that might help with reader retention and help the story not seem boring or slow.
Right now (with the episodes I’m currently producing atm) I’m trying to make 40-60 panel episodes, and wanted to know if y’all think it would be better to try to post a full episode 1x per week, or split that episode into two parts and post those two parts throughout the week…
My goal is to eventually return to weekly episodes once my buffer is built up a bit more (tho the “official Schedule” will remain every other week for now to give me some wiggle room)--and wanted to know your opinions on splitting episodes into parts or if you’d rather read it in one go.

Slow or long doesn't really matter to me, I will be reading it either way. What matters to me is that you move at the pace that you are most comfortable with. Also, I am particularly fond of a good slow burn.
