I'm an author who writes speculative fiction (read: sci-fi/fantasy/horror stuff) about shitty people—or, at least, people that others like to insist are shitty by definition.
I write as Cara Lee (dystopia/sci-fi), Misty White (mostly silly), Misti Wolanski (fantasy that juggles darkness and hope), and Carralee Byrd (dark fantasy).
Here on Tapas, I'm releasing my Displaced Shadows series of novellas, featuring illegal immigrants from alternate universes and time periods. Enjoy!

Welcome to my page on Tapas! I'm Carradee, also known as Misti Wolanski or by a handful of pennames (Cara Lee = dystopia; Carralee Byrd = dark fantasy; Misty White = kinda silly.)
I have a few side projects that will be serials from the start and might fit in well here, but those won't be written for another year or three, so I had to figure out what I wanted to post on this site. When I try a new site like this, I usually post the censored version of “She Who Knows Tomorrow”, a novella featuring psychics, cyborgs, and illegal immigrants from other universes.
But Tapas is different, and I wanted to treat it differently from the start, too. What could I offer here that I didn't have available elsewhere.
I sat down, poked around Tapas, and decided this site would get the UNcensored version of the first 3 novellas in the series that starts with “She Who Knows Tomorrow”. (The story-world already has a few side stories available on Patreon, and there are more novellas in the works.)
The series is based around characters who can hop into different multiverses. So far, it's mostly featuring cyborgs and psychics in space age cultures. That does not mean it'll stay there.
