Sorry for the double update but I ran out of room on the last one.
For these times when I can't update the story as often as I would like. Would any of you be interested if I made a side comic for extras such as concept art, character information, outtakes (panels I had to redraw but wanted to save for one reason or another) and art relating to the story, and characters?

Hey!
Just wanted to make a post too apologize and say that I'm not dead!
I know it's been a while and my updates have been sporadic but I have quite a bit of stuff going on right now. Too many projects and not enough time it seems, and that along side a few life events has caused a lot of stress for me.
I won't bore you with details, instead I'll try my best to keep it on point.
Mechanical Hearts and Synthetic Flowers comic is based off a book I've been writing, but me being me is not satisfied with the early chapters and has gone back to rewrite them.
I just finished rewriting the later half of chapter two and have moved on to chapter three. Unfortunately this also means I need to rewrite the comic script for chapter two.
Since the comic is based off a book I'm still currently in the process of writing, it's taking me sometime to bounce between writing chapters and drawing up pages.
I know, I know. I really should have finished writing the book first, but I couldn't help myself! I love these characters, and I admit I got overly excited to work with them in another format.
Comic aside, I've also been trying to work on prints and stickers to sell at conventions. Unfortunately the con I was wanting to get a table at currently has a lot of internal politics that I don't want to be a part of... So I'm going to try and wait next year to attend a more local con until they get things settled.
This means I can relax on meeting that deadline for now and try focusing more on MHSF.
I've also been looking for a new home for my partner and I. The apartment we live in is really nice but, living so close to people is very stressful for me and has been hard on my mental health.
This isn't everything that has been going on, but the main reasons for late updates. Again I feel really bad for not posting more often and I am really sorry. Hopefully I can get things back on schedule soon and start posting again.

I just wanted to let you guys know I'll be taking a break for a bit. The holiday season(and new years) was a bit more stressful than I had planned for, only getting 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night last month has started to catch up to me, so I just need a bit of time to recoup.
I dislike doing this to everyone since I feel I haven't been keeping up with updates like I should be, but I just need a bit of rest and time to catch back up on some lost sleep.

its always important to take time for yourself so I wouldn't worry! sit back kick your feet up and relax and when you feel its time to return you'll be more energized then you were before :D and we'll all be happy to see ya back in action!

Though I hate to say this but there might not be a new page this week. I've been really busy with a lot of different projects and I keep getting distracted easily but hopefully next week will start regular page updates again!

I just wanted to let everyone know I've been feeling a bit under the weather recently and thus why the page is so late~
I've been talking to a few people close to me and they have all told me I need to take a small break in order to recoup. so, in a way you can say this is my way of saying I'm going to be on hiatus for a short time while I distress and try to make up for lack of sleep (I'll still be working on the script and writing chapters)
Thank you all for your understanding, and I would like to take this time also to say... You are all awesome! Everyone I know here on Tapastic have been really great and kind! And those of you who follow my comic, thank you! You are all awesome!
