The prophecy tells that when the night darkens and the planets rise above it, the earth will be doomed to destruction. The dark maiden, along with her loyal knights, will take the earth and inhabit it. Giving the beings of the dark realm the power to roam the planet at will, killing and enslaving humans.
But the heavens will see that not all people harbour evil within them and with their last drop of faith in them, they will send their daughter, the divine maiden to intercede for humanity and save them from the chaos and destruction to which they are destined.
More than 1000 years ago, 75% of the earth was devastated by a meteor shower, or what we now call "Ma pa nangu".
The human survivors of the great cataclysm rebuilt the cities, on large islands in the middle of the sea, and began their peaceful lives anew.
But the peace did not last long enough. People with unusual abilities began to be born. Researchers confirmed that the meteorites that had come into contact with some of the surviving people developed a gene that was transferred to the next generations, giving them great superhuman abilities, hence they were called "gifted".
The fear and commotion began to spread, creating a great tension that caused people to marginalise and kill as many of the gifted as possible. This led to the "Ik nonku war" where the gifted and humans fought for survival, determining a beginning and an end.
The gifted began to rule and established two districts where each race could live in peace.
But humans were no more than commodities to the gifted, and a great difference was established between the gifted and the humans. While the gifted enjoyed a high quality of life and every possible whim, the humans lived with what they could in insufficient conditions. The economic differences between the two districts became more and more pronounced with each generation. Until the humans were unable to live on their own and came to be ruled by the gifted.
Over the years, the humans became comfortable with the situation and the established rules. But there was a small group of rebels who, unhappy with the circumstances, decided to rise up against the monarchy.
Hello everyone, how are you? It's been a long time since I've posted here. But I'm kind of at a crossroads and I don't know what to do. I would like to have your opinion to see which story I decide to go for after this one. I have two in mind.
A post-apocalyptic action/powers/romance one called "Districs".
And another one of medieval fantasy and romance, called "Serendipity".
Here are the descriptions and let me know which one interests you the most.
