HEY GUYS!
Due to the recent madness that we have been witnessing with Tapastic, Hoi and I have decided to put a temporary hiatus on Hoi Butt, Tethered and Tizzy Stitchbird here on Tapastic just until the smoke fully clears. We were planning on putting our comics on a hiatus while we go do the marriage thing in a month's time, so we are just putting them on the hiatus here on Tapastic a few weeks earlier.
We are still going to be uploading our comic on all the other usual places (linkies below) but just to be safe for now we are gonna lay low.

it's funny. I started out on WebToons, and now I'm probably going to have to go there full time (looking at comic that is. I don't draw.) it's a shame. cause I liked having two places to look at. It's gonna suck if all the fans don't move over too, cause this is an awesome group of folks. That being said, having a company who has no legal right to claim your art for themselves throwing in a RoFR clause into their base ToS is disgusting. they aren't paying you for your IP, just claiming it as their own. I'm glad all of this came out in such a big way though, because now people know what this company has tried to do, and will likely do in the future. Wishing y'all the best.

I read it when I saw it on Tasha’s post. I can appreciate the joke, but given the history of the company, and the actual potential for legal shit this could have cause a great many of people, I hardly take their “Only wanted to help” line as anything but a feeble attempt to settle nerves and get the attention off of the colossal pile of manure they just made.
The extent of the now removed clause was this: “If you post on this site, we own it. If you want to move, you have to tell us so we can make you an offer. If you want to monetize, you have to ask us every time, for every way possible. If you already had a deal before you posted on our site, too bad, you have to let us know so we can counter it. If you fail to tell us in any way at any time, we reserve the right to take you to court.” This was not only a scum move from a scumpany, but a violation of trust that should not simply be glanced over.
I’d not trust that they won’t do this again, in a far sturdier way that will be far harder to get rid of. While true, it’s a 30-day hold until you simply delete it from their site, some folks actually need those 30 days. It’s not an exaggeration to say they were trying to steal peoples IP. They have done it in the past, what’s to stop them from doing so again? This should not be legal in any way.
Many people care about their comics and other IP, and so they are rightfully anxious about what Tapas, or whatever they call themselves in the future, will be doing from now on.
That all said, if you don’t care if they try this with your stuff, then don’t worry.

Heya guys! Tasha and I are looking into opening up a new commission option for peoples own Pokemon inspired designs like the one below!
There will be 3 levels (evolution's) with another one of getting just the head drawn for an avatar (which will be the cheapest tier).
For each one we will be offering 3 backgrounds, one rock/desert, one ice/water and one forest. We are still in the process of creating the other two options but are hoping to show them off tomorrow at some point!
This is all fund raising towards that there marriage thing we are doing in THREE FREAKIN' MONTHS SO HOT DANG GUYS.
