I knew about Tapastic at the same time as MangaMagazine/InkBlazers but I basically went from there to here because it shut down. It's kind of sad because I enjoyed the contests from there. Hopefully Tapastic will do 'contests' sooner or later. My avatar 'princess kitten' was hand drawn and then later vectorized with illustrator [I mean It wasn't auto trace at all]
I recently got a refurbished Surface Pro 1, so I'm going to be drawing with that (fully digital), I didn't get it just for drawing, i wanted a powerful tablet computer and something to read on. It's just a plus I can draw on it. Why buy a computer you can't draw on?
I am learning from skill share how to continuously have inspiration to draw, and I'm going to try to stick to it. I really love comics, and I think I can gain the skills to make some decent ones. It would be very nice to have a side income like this one.
