Happy New Year everyone!! I hope this year have been productive and inspiring for you. It has for me! I have for the first time this year been selling my manga comic, The legendary Annu'rin on an manga convention, and it was super fun and I got all of my books sold! I hope I can get a table next year also, but this time I will also have pins and buttons together with (hopefully) another volume of my manga.

Dragonniar how many chapters have you made this far ? and how many chapters does volume's 1 and 2 contain ? thank you.

I don't know exactly but the manga is.about 5-10% done.
So you are aiming for aground 200 chapters ? Good luck then. if you are drawing with the speed of regular (japanese) manga author that would be about
5 years (assuming you work 3 chaps per 4 weeks) or
8 years 26 chapters (1 chapters per 2 weeks)

I have always find them fascinating and exiting, powerful and wise creatures. And most of the western stories of them make them look like the bad guy or just primitive beasts. I Like the Asien way they are pictured instead, as wise, old and honorable creatures. Maybe I want to change the look on them ^^

i personaly like the european physical look more (lizard with two wings and four more legs) , but i can't deny that like the idea of them being benevolent. another weird question if im not getting annoyng ->
You know of the de extinction program ? if one day, humanity has enough knowledge on genes, and someone wants to create
real flying dragons (not wyverns looking at you R.R. Martin ) but without the firebreathing, shoud we give em a chance to exsist ?

I must say that sounds really cool if dragon could exist, but as a biologist point of view I don’t think that would be such a good idea. Not to play god with genes and create new creature because I have nothing against that, but rather the impact of the food chain and the other animals this would have if we let this genetic modified “dragon” out. We have no clue how the world would react, would this “dragon” take over (like the cane toad in Australia), diseases that will evolve and spread, etc. So how much I would want dragons, I don’t think they would fit in our world sadly…
yeah i hate to say this but i agree, that they would not fit into this one, perhaps the first one that humanity manages to terraform.
considering that the "mother" earth has alredy five times nearly wiped out all creepy crawlies on her surface, we really should not keep all eggs in one basket for the sixt one.
Perhaps on other world, there might be space for them, however as i come to think about it something like the firelizards from the pern books, to the size of a san bernard dog would be safest option shoud someone ever attemp do it, asuming that the genetic theory is even possible.

I have created a group community over at Deviantart devoted to the world of The Legendary Annu’rin. Where I think it will be easier for me and you to interact with each other that like this manga comic world, send questions of the series, share fan art and get all the latest news.
