About Kody, I think the idea for the story is a good idea but it's not really a comic. Probably has to do with association, but Kody feels more like a novel or short story than a comic. While I adore Dream Catcher, partially because of all unique art pieces that crop up through the story, Kody just doesn't feel that way to me. When I go to read Kody it comes off as more like a short story or novel that's being released one chapter at a time. My main reason for this critique, a severe lack of visual aids. To me, a comic is a story that uses visual aids extensively but Kody doesn't do that, Dream Catcher does it pretty well. Kody doesn't even have little breakups at various points in chapter structure to qualify it for a light novel or visual novel. Honestly, when I try to read Kody I just can't, I keep trying to think about as a comic but its structure makes it feel more like I'm trying to read a book, this psychological conflict I have while making goes at reading the story is what ultimately stops me from doing so. I think it's supposed to be comic of some kind, given the nature of the site you're posting it to, but it just comes off as feeling like it's intended to be a standard book.

Hi! I'm not sure where you got the idea that Kody was supposed to be a comic, but it is and always has been a novel. Tapas has an entire section for webnovels, which is why I'm posting it here and not on Smackjeeves or any of the other sites I mirror DreamCatcher on. Glad you're enjoying DreamCatcher, and I hope that if you read it as a novel like it's intended to be, you'll enjoy Kody too.
