Liam remained silent, gazing at her, still amazed by her words but he was curious about something..

- So… you will help anyone in need?, this question sparkled something inside him…

She was surprised that someone was curious about her for the first time.

- Well… yes, if you’re in need I will come there and help you. She ended the sentence with a bright smile on her face and a feeling of pride in her heart. She would often help people that don’t deserve it, they would just take advantage or get greedy, but that wouldn’t stop her, people are kind beings she thought to herself everytime.

- Hmm… I guess I’ll need you all the time, he said with a cheeky smile.

- Haha! Well don’t be selfish… there are SO many people who need help, even now, and I’m going to help as many as I can you know…

He stood there in silence as she flew away, again left behind looking at her beautiful, long, silvery wings. After that he couldn’t take her off his mind. He’d spent most of the days reading about angels on the internet and thinking about their encounters. Her red eyes and white hair were a sight he could not forget easily. – I so wish I could see her again… he muttered to himself as he was walking home after a hangout with his friends late in the night. As he reaches the same spot he was lost 2 months ago he stopped and looked around hoping she’ll be there. She’s helping someone that really needs now. I may not see her again soon as she is so busy. Liam wasn’t able to clear his mind no matter what so he went home to sleep.

- Hey bro! What’s with the long face? Still missing Anna? Jacob said in an attempt to tease him, and who could blame him? A joke about angels that turns out to be true, and more than that, the most beautiful girl I’ve met saved me twice already.

- Ha! Ha! Laugh all you want jerk, I’ll prove you one day that she was true! He said indignantly and frustrated about the situation. What could he do? She won’t come unless he truly needs help but he also doesn’t want to summon her for little things as she may never come again. This situation was so frustrating that every time Jacob brought up the subject he would get pissed off in an instant.

What if ask her nicely if she wants to spend some time with me. Even angels need breathers once in a while right? So with that in mind, a few more days passed and every day he encouraged himself I WILL ask her out, as friends! I know it’s weird and she’ll say no, but I can’t just give up. I will do it tonight!. So after the last class at his college ended he went to a local flower shop and gazed at flowers for about 10 minutes until the florist came

- May I help you sir?, she humbly asked.

- Uhmm… he didn’t know what to say, he couldn’t just ask What can I buy for an angel, right? So… I want to buy this girl I like flowers… the florist smiled and asked him

- What kind of girl she is? As she started to look for a rose.

- Oh, she is very kind, and she wants to help everyone, she’s brave and determined… he ended the sentence there as he realized that’s all he knew about her…

- Hmm… what do you want to tell her with this flower? That you love her?

- Oh no! no! That would be too much! He smiled anxiously and continued, I just want to show her how much I appreciate her and maybe make her like me back.

- How about an orange rose? It’s often given to show gratitude towards a person, paired with a few yellow ones, for a good friendship, at least in the begging, right?

- YES! That would be great! Thank you so much ma’am! As he watched her make the bouquet anxiously, the florist picked 3 roses, 2 orange ones and 1 yellow one and added a big pink ribbon to it.

- There you have it! Hope it goes well for you two!

- Thank you! I’ll come again, he said as he rushed out to the place he got lost the first time they met.

He arrived there, the moon was up, bright as always, he then started to pray for help… without result… Once… twice… nothing! He then tried to trip over and fell…nothing. Help… how do I get help… how do I summon her here… and a drop of water fell on his face. As he looked up, the moon was no longer to be seen, it was covered by dark clouds. A few other drops of water followed and in a few minutes it started raining. Is this a sign, that I shouldn’t see you? His heart wavered. I still need to see you, I know it’s not help but still… He stood in the rain for about an hour watching the skies before he decided to go home and take a nap. On his way home he could not let go of the flowers, they were soaking wet and looked like trash It’s definitely a sign… He thought as he looked at them. Maybe I’ll just give up. I’ll try helping others like she did, maybe we’ll meet on the way. Or not, she must’ve forgot about me already anyway… his train of thoughts was interrupted as he stepped in a deeper puddle, and full of frustration he shouted: ANNA! Where are you now?...

Next day Jacob and Liam went with Jacob’s girlfriend and a few other friends from their class to a movie, but he was gloomy all day. Jacob teased him about his expression with every occasion, but his girlfriend, Chloe, stopped him every time. That day ended with him constantly saying that he’s fine and he’s just tired.

As days went by he started to put aside the books about angels, and started to hangout more with Jacob.

- What happened bro? You’ve stopped dreaming your Anna? He mocked him with a short giggle.

- She may have been just a dream… who knows. Maybe I was crazy after what happened with Julia…

- Yeah man, she really was… something. But to go crazy like that? Haha! You’ve tried a new drug to get over it?

Nah, I’m sticking with alcohol for now, he laughed it off as they continued drinking with his friend…
