Lazuli Snowtwill ran as fast as she possibly could. With the gravel crunching between her feet and the wind brushing through her hair, she kept going and enjoyed the cool autumn breeze. She came across the castle. A girl ran by. "Wait up, Ori!" she called. A group of people walked by, laughing and pointing. "And, I just can't BELIEVE how incredibly upset Professor Ark got!". They howled with laughter. Lazuli noticed how alone she looked. She didn't feel excluded or anything, though. It was a simple observation. The professor she had talked to before was sitting under a tree, reading what looked like some papers clipped on a clipboard. "Professor Calico!" she called as she ran over. "It's me, uh, Lazuli Snowtwill.". "Ah, yes. Miss Snowtwill, here is your school timetable. Please head in as soon as possible." he responded calmly. "Yes!" she headed inside. There were whispers emerging from the Cave Halle. It was difficult to make out what they were saying. "I think they're fine.", "It's going to be okay.". Confused, Snowtwill checked her card and went to her room. She pulled out her phone, flipped it open and saw her unread text. "Laz, where are you.", she read. Who was the message from? "Nori". Lazuli opened up her responce. "Just arrived at my new school, y?". She jumped on her bed and threw her bags on the floor. The bed was so soft and clean! It smelled like lemon roses. She propped up her phone and blasted her favourite song. "The only one, only time, only one that ever mattered..." the speakers blasted. She was having the greatest time until she heard a knock on her door.
