Now standing on the sidewalk I took in my surroundings, cars zoomed by on the busy street,people shopped and talked. There was a fruit stand across the road in front of a line of shops. the shops were all full of people except the last one on the left side. I decided to start there, however  crossing the street proved to be no easy task. None of the cars would stop for me to cross and there's no crosswalk.
