I've been asked this a lot, even by one of my friends (granted that friend did not know that I also identify as a male).
I'm not insulted by being mistaken as a lesbian, since it is not an insult to be called one; however, it is disappointing to hear that I am being considered one solely based on stereotypical traits.
The world is a lot more diverse than many people think.
