I walked into my room and started to strip. Throwing my soaking wet clothing into a corner and slipping into a dry pair of boxers, I fell into bed on a happy sigh.

“So, have you told her yet?” I glanced over at Gavin who was sitting cross legged on his bed writing in a notebook. I grinned at him.

“Yeah, I told her.” I laid back in my bed with my hands behind my head, visions of Lily played in my head. I’m still amazed that she feels the same way.

“Since you’re grinning over there I’m taking it went well?” I rolled over onto my side and looked at Gavin.

“When are you going to talk to Cara?” He shrugged and kept writing in his notebook.

“When I decide if she even likes me. You were already friends for a long time with Lily. I’ve only hung out with Cara in groups.”

“Why don’t you ask her out, even if it’s just to study?” he put his pencil behind his ear and closed his notebook.

“Maybe tomorrow after class.”

“Did you remember the spell?”

“Yeah, I just reworked it a little. Will do it tomorrow at noon.”
