It's not the cop that actually caught me but some other guy that clearly seemed to think he was someone important judging by the way he walks in. He looks pissed and I think I know why. I hold back laughter as the guy stands in front of the metal table I'm sitting at, standing tall with his black suit and blue tye.
“You think you're smart, huh kid?” He said with a clearly aggravated tone.
“No. I know I'm smart.” I say back to him with a serious face, trying not to show how much I actually loved this. His face twitches at my response. Ops, I guess this bear doesn't like to get poked.
This should be entertaining.
“Realy? Because last time I checked you were in here.” He says smugly, as if that’s supposed to make some kind of point. I don't have great self control so, yea, I make a bit of a mistake here.
“Pffft! AHAHAHAHAHA!” I just couldn't hold it back when he said that. I mean this is the first time I sit here and I've done military grade hacking on the actual military and have never been caught. I don't even know if the reason I’m here counts as getting caught because they still have no idea who I am, and they're not going to find out any time soon. He looks surprised at my sudden outburst but then an unsettling smile appears on his face. “What?”
“You think you're untouchable huh? Well let me give you a bit of a reality check kid, we already figured out that that home screen is a fake so it shouldn't be long before we get in there and have prof. This is what happens when an amature black hat gets to cocky.” Ok, I'll admit that I was a bit impressed. I mean it was only going to be a temporary thing until I had time to code the computer further, but still, not half bad for a bunch of old fucks. “You know I’d start asking for a deal if I were you because once that computer is open, the deals are off the table and were holding your ass behind bars.” I just sat there only half listening.
I mean even if they find that virus I was working on, it’s the only incriminating thing on there. At most they can probably fine me but since the thing was only half done and hadn't even been used on anyone I'm pretty damn sure that's all they can do.
I just sit there not saying anything. Man I get bored easy. I just started looking around the room and sucking my teeth. Not that there was anything to look at. I mean it's literally a grey room with a metal chair and table, that's it. And it's not like I could look in the two way mirror at my reflection since this ouaf is standing right infront of me.
I end up looking towards the door where I had been watching all the police officers and people in handcuffs scurry by when I was first left here alone a few hours ago. This time though, I almost fall out of my chair in surprise as I see someone standing at the door with a smirk on their face as they look at me. The caramel skinned guy is good looking but damn that heart attack was unnecessary. As soon as our eyes meet his crystal green eyes seem to smirk too somehow, and he gives me a wink before walking away from the door.
What the fuck?
Was he trying to hit on me through a door? I mean ok, he's attractive and all but that's still fucking wired. I find ‘agent pain in the ass’ look towards the door just in time to missed the guy. He looks back at me when he sees nothing, clearly suspicious of me. He opens his mouth to probably ask me about it but is stopped when a flashing red light fills the room and sirens blare all over the place.
Out of surprise I try to cover my ears but all I do is hurt myself by pulling to hard on my handcuffs still attached to the table. Fucking hell this day is not getting any better. The cock in front of me has the audacity to look at me with an accusing expression and I can't help but roll my eyes at that.
"I'm not a fucking magician in case you hadn't noticed." I may be a good hacker but I can't actually hack without anything to hack on and they weren't exactly letting me have a laptop at the moment.
Agent fuck face gives me a look that clearly spells rage as he goes to leave the room.
"Just shut up and stay put." He snaps back. He locks the door with his key while on the other side and gives me a look before leaving to see what all the commotion is about. Not that I have any clue why he would think he needs to lock the door, I mean I'm still handcuffed to a table that's screwed into the fucking floor. I just watch as everyone scrambles around like maniacs on the other side of the door. Suddenly I hear the door klick and the doorknob slowly turn. Ok, I don't believe in ghosts, but I can't see anyone on the other side doing this so a part of me is freaking out while the other is trying to logic itself out of feeling fear for something that can't possibly exist. I stop freaking out and instead feel utter confusion when I start to see the boy from before crouching on the ground as the door opens further.
What the fuck. Again.
When he’s in the room he closes the door behind him gently and gets up to walk over to me.
“Wha-”
“Later kid, we can talk in a bit.” Awesome, another person calling me kid, it’s nice to know the world hasn't run out of pricks.
“Hey ass hole, I'm seventeen alright?” I say as he takes out a set of lock pics from his back pocket. I only realize after saying those words how childish that sounded but fuck it was to late now.
“Yea I know.” He says not looking at me as he starts to pick the lock on my handcuffs.
“Seriously... what the fuck are you-”
“I said later.” Fucking interrupting me again. His voice is more stern as one cuff is removed and slides out of the metal loop welded to the table. He grabs my arm and tucks the dangling cuff in the long sleeve of my hoodie. He grabs me by the other hand and pulls me out the room, apparently throwing caution to the wind. He pulls me along behind him and I get half dragged through the back of the precinct. Everyone is at a computer and looks pretty freaked out, all staring at the screens.
What the fuck is going on right now?
