“Good, I see you’re up.” Kovan appeared, parting the beaded curtain at the arch separating Tyler’s sleeping quarters. “I have something for you.”
Kovan entered, a garb draped across an arm.
“For the party?” Tyler croaked, and got up slowly, body lethargic and unresponsive.
Kovan stopped dead in his tracks at ten feet away, eyes balling.
“Uh, y-yes,” Kovan stuttered, quickly averting his gaze.
He made an abrupt turn to set the clothes atop a small, side table.
“Change into these.”
As quickly as he have said it, he was out the room. Tyler frowned, pondering at his strange reaction. ~~~~~~
Heheheheheheheh! *v*
So yea.... Kovan saw something that Tyler didn't stop to think for one second that might bother him. For folks coming from the lower quadrant, showing abit of flesh didn't really matter. But for the Echelon... heheheh... let's just say Kovan escaped the room blushing and calming down. <3

I kept wanting to include a scene like this for chapter 5. Feast for the eyes!! RAWRRR!!! *v*
*Original images from the net are edited and photoshopped together.

Unfortunately, I was forced to split it in the novel posting lol. I hope that doesn't destroy the reading or the image! >.<

THANK U ALL FOR STILL HOLDING ON AND BELIEVING IN ME!! TvT
Last month was honestly crazy for me so I couldn't get to writing properly.
Also, here I'll like to share that my updates will not be frequent, probably only every few weeks, but I plan to release them about 2 to 3 chapters at a time to address a complete scenario.
This is because Tapas works with a shortened word limit than what I'm used to, which I feel does not properly present my story flow. I find it quite awkward to split certain events with a waiting time lapse, because the reading becomes quite jarring by the time I post the follow up. Which is why I rather spend a longer time to work on 2 to 3 episodes successively and post it up together.
I hope you all will be alright with that! @_@
And i really appreciate everyone who patiently supports me! <3
Here's an accompanying image to reference visuals on the set up of the match!
"As they ascended he calmed enough to get a better study of their surroundings, noting the enormous chamber housing tons of floating platforms that encircled the space. It was dark along the walls but from the light flooding in a halo at the ceiling, Tyler could make out the platforms resting in neat columns and circular staggered rows that spiralled downwards in descending order.
There was also a spectacular display of lighted imagery filling the space near the tops of the curved pinnacle. Tyler stared transfixed at the light show, till the elevation halted somewhere near the tops of the spectator formation. Once still, Tyler’s gaze drifted downwards, past the heads of the other Echelon, finding the source of the wild attention right down on center ground.
There he found the brutality. And the animalistic ferocity.
Of fist colliding with bone, limbs flying, bodies slamming against each other and jumping apart in a dangerous tangle of attack and defence.
Down on the center grounds, two pairs, each consisting of a Striker and Anchor, spun in tousle of twin loops of thick jute cords tied around their waist. Strikers from both pairs exchanged blows on a platform whilst their Anchors strayed behind, separated on another smaller platform. They filled their role by controlling the tension of the thick cord connecting them to their fighter, wielding it like a weapon of vice the way a voodoo crafter would.
Both cords acted like living snakes, slithering menacingly one moment then whipping the Strikers with an ear splitting clack the next. Even if the attack missed, the three-inch thick jute cord snapped the air with its intensity, with a crack loud enough to make Tyler jump."
