Hi everyone!
It's been a while, so I wanted to pop in to say I'm not dead ;)
However the last 5 months have been WILD!!
Both in a positive and a negative way.
Let's take the negative first and get it over with:
The TL;DR is I'm stressed the fuck out.
Within the last year 5 people in mine and my boyfriend's families have unexpectedly died. Its obviously not been easy and I've of course spend much time and energy being moral support and be there for people most affected, as "luckily" none was people I was especially close to personally.
That then changed in the spring, when I got the announcement that my grandmother is terminal with cancer. I am enormously attached to her.
She is my everything. She was the one person who understood me growing up. She is my greatest supporter and champion of my artistic journey and education, and my biggest fan. To make a long story short, I'm not coping too well.
That combined with some ill timed changes at work, has completely smacked me out of commission, and I am currently on sick leave for the next foreseeable future.
Now for THE POSITIVES!!
Over Christmas I was hard at work touching up TCS, and late March I debuted at a local first-time-convention's Artist Alley with The Changeling's Sister, Part 1 as a PHYSICAL COMIC!!!
And it was a FUCKING SUCCESS!!
I'll make a post only about this later on, there's much to tell!
I've also started holding talks about the autism experience and what it means to be autistic, at the local hospital, which is a dream of mine, which is really fucking cool and a big milestone for me!!
Lastly I AM FINALLY ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT THIS!!!
I got one of my Critical Role fanart pieces in the next Mighty Nein Art Book!!!!

All in all, I'm alive, I'm excited, but also need a lot of naps. Hope you guys are doing well, I'm looking forward to returning with more pages!

Yea same thing happened to me - and they will put your comic on the front page every so often so good job! : D You'll get more people viewing your work over time.

I binged the whole thing and kept clicking next because I was craving more but then realized I was caught up to the most recent update! It was nice to see a comic that wasn't a manhwa or a BL on the front page and has a very interesting plot! Had to hit sub today. Congrats on getting to the front page 💞😊
Thank you for the nice words! I calmed down again the same evening, but it definitely got my motivation in gear, so I expect (if the fates allow it) to get a page up some time next week! <3
