“What’s wrong, Blazing Fairy? Lacking of air to burn your flames?!”
Even though Sarvati was able to block the incoming punch, and insult, the bigger dragon’s force was too much too handle and she got pushed backwards. It was indeed shocking, as the cursed lizard didn’t let out any aura of strength until he actually striked.
The cursed blue kept pressing on the attack, each of his punch pushed the smaller dragon further and further away despite her actually managing to block all of them with her blades. Similar to General Kaisser, Sarvati couldn’t see any apparent effect of the seal runes on this arrogant lizard.
The situation couldn’t get worse as each of the insolent fool’s strike was accompanied by an increasingly rude insult. All Sarvati could do was to grit her teeth and kept on blocking.
Until the barrage of punches finally pushed Sarvati out of the cave towards the level ground at the base of the prison’s giant hole.
Mighty sun shone bright, blessing it’s bright celestial flames to every creature, including Sarvati. It was enough to help her regain the strength she lost due to the seal runes.
The cursed dragon lunged from the cave, eager to continue his insults. But, he was stopped as his eyes were blinded by the mighty sun. The moment has never been more perfect. That was the sign given by The Celestials for her to counterattack.
Zhurron, the saber on Sarvati’s left hand, roared with blue flames as its master slashed it at the blue fool. A loud clang reverberated throughout the prison’s hole. It was quite a shock to Sarvati that the convict’s chains managed to block the slash.
“Tiny body, tiny brain,” the cursed dragon smirked uglily. “Do you really think that they were using normal chains to bind me? Is this that Misbegotten Vaardict’s trusted lieutenant?”
“Enough!” Sarvati roared as she stabbed Aggni, the sword on her right hand, right at her opponent’s neck. However, that attack was blocked as well.
The amber scaled dragon started to care less about the strength of the chain and continued her attacks. Each slash and stabs were controlled and precise. Ember sparked on each strike, as she danced with her blades and flames.
Under the sun’s light and without the presence of the rune seals, she got the advantage. Sooner or later, the blue fool will run out of strength or the chains will break, or melt.
Sarvati spread her wings, which membranes looked like birds’ feathers, and soar while unleashing burst of flames from her mouth. At least she can either roast the dragon or melt his chains this way. Unfortunately, the cursed blue dragon unleashed an explosion of air to block the flames.
“That’s all you got, eh, Blazing Fairy?” Dust settled as the blue convict stroke another insult with a satisfied grin. He was no more armless. A black bow adorned with golden colored pattern was on his grip. Such weapon, one that is deemed a coward’s weapon by the dragons, summoned by such dragon...
… it’s definitely a cursed demonic bow.
“Roar…” Sarvati growled to her saber as she pointed it towards the cursed dragon. She couldn’t bear another insult. All her life, she struggled and fought as hard as she could against how painful fate had been to her. Then, an anthropomorphic lizard who did nothing but sleep for twenty five years in a crystal, dared to mock her. Such insolence couldn’t be allowed anymore.
“... O’ Flames of Judgement, Zhurron!” The saber roared with blazing fury, answering its master’s burning heart. Sarvati dove as she engulfed her own body with the blue flames from her saber, and her emotions.
The blue insolent lizard unleashed a rain of light arrows. But, none of it meant much as Sarvati managed to dodge and parry those projectiles despite her increasing speed.
As they almost collided, the criminal punched the ground and unleashed a strong wind. It wasn’t enough to push Sarvati away, but unfortunately it managed to get him away from the explosion of Sarvati’s crash.
“You know,” said the blue convict with another mocking tone as dust from the explosion started to settle. He grinned wider, showing sets of sharp teeth that was so irregular even for dragons. “I heard beautiful females from all sort of creatures are often dangerous. I guess it was true, if we take you as…”
Enough! No more talk! Sarvati lunged forward and slashed both Aggni and Zhurron, stopping the insolent anthropomorphic lizard from finishing his words. Alas, the wretch of a dragon managed to block yet another strike.
However, Sarvati didn’t stop and dashed past him before turning around to strike from different angle. Blue tongues of flame danced along the path she traversed, especially around the cursed dragon. Her rapid strikes from every angle caused the the burning flames to spread and grow bigger.
Soon, blocking her attacks won’t mean much. Slowly but surely, a roasted lizard will be cooked on the dry ground of this seal prison. To hell with her mission! She could try to finish it alone without the help of the damned reptile.
However, the cursed blue suddenly stopped blocking and jumped very high. So high that Sarvati could see that he is actually higher than the top of the hole. How fortunate. A roasted lizard wouldn’t be served. But a burnt lizard will be served much earlier.
“Combust! O’ Holy Flames, Aggni!”
Sarvati stood up straight and pointed her sword to the sky. White flames started to engulf her sword. Mere moments later, a white flame pillar sprouted from Aggni and mercilessly engulfed the soon going to be ex-convict. Ex, because a dead lizard couldn’t return to prison.
Suddenly, a deafening roar reverberated throughout the prison, forcing Sarvati to fall to her knees. It has been a long time since she felt something like that. The pressure didn’t have any sort of dread feeling, but it was indeed a roar of pure strength. Similar to General Kaissser’s.
The amber scaled dragon dreadfully turned her head skyward. The cursed seal dragon, a flightless dragon, floated in the air. He changed, she was sure of it. However, apart from the disappearance of the tattoos on his upper torso, there was no clear changes.
Something was different other than the overwhelming power which radiated from him. Sarvati’s sense was unable to fathom the condition. What kind of misbegotten magic was that?
