I quickly put my hands in the air. Not wanting to give her any indication that I was not going to cooperate.
"Get up." The woman barked.
I scrambled to my feet immediately.
"Relax, it's only me." Dark said.
"Dark? You son of a bi*ch, what in the h*ll is going on in here."
He grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him. "Nothing now." He whispered.
"I heard shooting, was that you?" The woman asked.
"No, Marc got mad and I guess you know the rest."
"What's new? False alarm guys lower your guns." She said to the rest of her team.
"Who is this?" She questioned.
"Win."
"Win? Can you be more specific." She said her face becoming more serious.
"She was supposedly spying on us outside a couple of days ago. Not exactly sure what she was doing, but that's what everyone else thinks."
'So he still doesn't exactly believe I was spying?'
He then put his chin near shoulder. His face was right next to mine. I could smell him. He was giving of warmth and heat. My cheeks were so hot you could fry an egg on them.
He continued to speak. "She doesn't like to be questioned, so no questions." I didn't know what he was trying to do, however I knew he wasn't trying to protect me.
"Stop messing around who is this. One of Wolf's girlfriends. He's out of here if she is. You guys know the rules. No outsiders." There was no sign of joking in her voice.
"She's not." He said.
"Why are Wolf and Marcela on the floor?" She said suddenly distracted, rushing toward them.
"Winny, got her hands on one of the dart guns."
Part of her crew went over to tend to Wolf and Marcela.
"You were serious about her being a spy?" She asked in shock. Like she couldn't believe someone like me could cause something like this.
"Somewhat." He muttered.
The woman cocked her gun, and walked toward us.
"Who is she working for."
"She won't tell, she's a tad shy." He released me.
"Oh yeah, well were going to fix that real soon."
She stood in front of me. "Winny is that your name?"
'Oh god.'
I didn't say anything.
She smiled evilly. "Good, don't say anything. It makes it more fun when Arshana has to torture it out of you."
Arshana?
"Your coming with me, let's take a little stroll together." She signaled her team toward her.
Two men grabbed my arm. I tried to pull away, but one of them put a gun at my head.
"I wouldn't play around with me. I'll blow your head right off without a second thought."
I stilled and let out a shaky breath. The woman flipped her hair over her shoulders. She opened the door and walked out.
The men followed her. The brightness that hit my eyes was painful. I had to squint.
I had men surrounding me everywhere. Two by my side, one in front of me, and Dark was behind me. They formed a square around me.
My heart felt like it was about to burst out of my chest. I felt the blood rush up to my ears. My hands felt clammy and damp.
I had a headache now, and I don't think that it would be going away any time soon.
The woman led us down the hall. I heard a lot of noises in the hallway. It sounded like people were fighting. I believed it was coming from downstairs.
We walked past an open door. There were people typing furiously on a computer with headphones over their ears.
Maybe to block out the noise?
Once we reached the end of the hall, she turned left. There just so happened to be an elevator.
Elevators, I hated them with a passion. Never liked them, I always had a fear I would get stuck in one.
But I didn't say anything. I knew better, but that still didn't stop me from hyperventilating.
The men filled in neatly inside the elevator. I hesitated a bit, but Dark decided to give me a push forward; so that I could go in.
She clicked a button to go up and it lit up. When the elevator didn't budge she started to click it repetitively. I wanted to tell her to stop before the elevator broke down.
The elevator made a strange sound and started to move up. The movement made my stomach feel sick. I wanted to get of this thing.
It felt like forever, but we finally came to a stop. The elevator made a ting sound and opened it's doors.
The first thing I saw was a flower pot and I headed straight for it. I grabbed the sides of it and threw up.
"Second time in one day." I already knew who was speaking.
One of the men grabbed my arms and pulled me up. I felt like death, and I needed sleep.
"Vomit girl, wipe your mouth with this." He placed a velvet handkerchief in my hands.
I felt strange to wipe my mouth with a clean handkerchief, but I guess I had too.
I threw the handkerchief in a bin close by after I was finished with it.
"Let's go." The woman said.
We headed toward an enormous staircase. I wondered why we didn't just take the elevator up all the way. It made no sense.
The steps were a deep brown color, they resemble a bark of chocolate; only they had swirls of a lighter shade of brown in them.
The staircase was extremely wide, and the steps were far apart from each other, which was quite annoying.
I was incredibly short, my legs were small; which made it hard for me to walk up the stairs.
I was in the middle so I could not hold onto the railing, so I was force to walk up the stairs looking like an idiot.
It was taking forever to get to the top. We just kept walking and walking. Was I the only one who was tired?
No one complained or said anything. I didn't expect anyone to either. We walked in silence. Only the pattering of feet hitting the steps.
We finally reached the top and I nearly fell to the ground. My feet were tired and worn out. Yet I kept walking.
I mean what was I going to do? Turn around and say 'Guys my feet are hurting and I need to sit, so can someone get me a chair and massage my aching feet? Ya, I don't think so.
I had to say upstairs was stunning. The walls were vivid velvet color. The floor was shiny, there were mirrors lining the walls along with pictures of people I could not identify. There were also two glass tables that practically glowed with shine.
"Ok, put the blindfold on her."
My eyes darted toward the woman who spoke.
'Blindfold?'
I felt a silky dark material go over my eyes, along with a piece of something being shoved him my mouth.
I hadn't even spoken, so I wasn't quite sure why the gag was even necessary.
I began to shake my head around. When a hard object butted into the left side of my head.
And I was a hundred percent sure it was a gun.
"In case you don't know, this is a gun. So unless you want a bullet to go right through your brain, killing you instantly; I suggest you not move." I recognized the voice immediately, and I was shaken by his words.
Dark. He surprised me by his tone of voice. He's usually more calm. Sickeningly I found his voice to be so, I sexily horrifying. It made me feel so strange to think those kinds of thoughts. I wasn't the type of girl who thought that way about guys. I had never even had a boyfriend before.
Dark. I didn't even have to be looking at him to know that his eyes were going crazy.
I was met with a violent thought once again. I wanted to hurt him, for putting a gun to my head, threatening me. Putting me in danger as though my life didn't matter.
This was ridiculously over the top and extreme. All this to prove if I was spying on them. Why did they even care so much?
Besides if they were really going to be taking about something so secretive that nobody should know about, they should have gone indoors. Not in some random ally. I know it was snowing but still, this whole situation could have been avoided.
"Walk." I heard the woman bark.
And so I began to walk with Dark leading me. We made lots of twists and turns, I felt as though we were walking through a maze. I got shoved by one of the men telling me to move faster. I actually became extremely irate by that. These people had no respect for anyone.
I had felt a weight lifted of my shoulder because I didn't have the gun near my head anymore, but I was still going to be cautious.
We reached a stop, and the gag was taken away from my mouth. Then the blindfold was slowly pulled away from my eyes.
I opened my eyes to see I was standing in front of a door. It was a wooden one, and it had the initials S.A.B.A.
Below it there was the initial A. Only one letter followed by a the sentence 'Head of Section. There was another word but I couldn't make it out because it was scratched out.
"Are you ready to meet him?"
I just stare at her.
"I'll take that as a yes." She says with a nasty grin. There was something off about her, she gave me a bad feeling. I didn't like it.
She opens the door and we walked in. An older gentleman sits by a desk. He was wearing a black suit, and had streaks of gray in his hair. He didn't have a serious expression, but he wasn't jovial either.
I look on his desk, I take into consideration a shiny gray gun. I see a white computer, which he is slowly typing on.
I look by the window, and my heart fails for a good twenty seconds. It takes awhile for me to recover. However, I'm not sure why I'm surprised, this girl is everywhere.
Marcela. 'For goodness sakes. Didn't I shoot her with a dart gun. I wish she would just go away and never come back. But I just can't seem to get rid of her.'
Marcela was sitting by the window sill smirking. Which made me want to vomit. I was sick of seeing her stupid ugly face.
For the first time in my life, I found myself having an extreme dislike for someone. I never had a feeling like this before. But then again I was feeling many emotions today, caused by a certain someone.
The man suddenly looked up. He grins warmly at me but it wasn't pleasant at all. He plays with the gun by his desk and says "Come here, we have a lot to talk about.
