Edith woke up in the morning to a dark sky and raindrops on her window. Rain? Rain didn’t happen often here. It was nice, though.
It started storming after just a bit. Just when she was about to leave for school, the apartment lights shut out, and Edith’s mother told her that school was cancelled because the school was out, too.
Edith knew what she wanted to do today. She texted all of her friends, Ashley, Troy and Dave. She told them to come over to her apartment to play board games.
They all came, and they all had fun together. Edith appreciates her friends so much.

What?
Wow, thanks. Rain.
What is happening? I swear I don’t remember rain ever happening here. Shouldn’t I? Now that I think of it, it’s hard to remember much of anything about my past here.
Something is definitely happening now. A storm happened, power went out, no school.
I ended up staying at home alone for some of the day, but after that I talked to Milo. I told him about everything that’s happening right now. How everything is the same. How everything is predictable. How everything seems not real. He seemed extremely interested in this, but I also thought that he seemed fearful in a way.
What should I do?
Am I crazy?
