This whole webcomic is an Egg of Columbus. I have no motor skills, so I could never excite people with impressive illustrations. I am also slow, so I usually drew my own things than the flavor of the month.
As for the artstyle, I see it as a textbook example of convergent evolution. But you're going to call it "omg anime" anyway.
