I have as much problems with colored comics as I have with canned laughter in britcom. In the latter case I want to hear what is funny and decide myself if I am to laugh.
For comics, my vision is heavily taxed when constantly switching between looking at color pictures and reading text in speech bubbles. Colored text is right out.
