Shina, a young mage trying to learn magic on her own, has been uselessly attempting to perform an astral projection for days. When she finally decides to ask for help, she goes to a close friend who tells her the best way to learn to use magic on her own is through the summoning of a familiar. As she is about to give up, she meets a stray dog on her way home who turns out to be someone completely unexpected.
