"Hurry up Naruto! We're going to be late!" Sasuke called, putting his jacket on.

Naruto bolted out of the bathroom, his hair was still wet, just out of the shower.

"And whose fault is that, huh?! We wouldn't be late if you hadn't hopped in the shower with me, you moron!" Naruto accused, pointing a finger at Sasuke.

"And who teased me walking around shirtless earlier? You know it excites me, little fox..." Sasuke retorted.

"Shut up, perv! You're excited by everything lately: the other day, it was my foot..." Naruto remembered.

"What can I say? I love every inch of you, Naruto!" Sasuke confessed, touching Naruto's lips with his fingertips.

"S-stop! We don't have time, dammit!" Naruto yelled, rushing to the door of their apartment.

They sprinted as fast as they could to arrive on time at their university.

After the White Day proposal made by Sasuke to Naruto, the 2 boys became inseparable, sleeping at each other's house almost every day. They finished their high school years with a perfect score for Sasuke, and very good final grades for Naruto.

They both decided to go to university: Sasuke to study medicine; Naruto aimed to become a policeman. And even though he could have studied in the best universities of the country, Sasuke decided to go to same one as Naruto, so they wouldn't be apart.

They chose to become roommates (well, Sasuke insisted on that part...) and moved in an apartment 20 min away from the college. The cohabitation had been perfect so far.

Well, almost perfect... Sasuke's parents had sort of guessed the young men's relationship and accepted it more or less. On the other hand, Naruto and Sasuke's friends still didn't know anything... It was becoming a heavy burden for both of the boys.

Naruto and Shikamaru ate together one day, the latter went to the same college.

"Hey, Naruto! I hadn't noticed you had a ring! Do you have a girlfriend?!" Shikamaru inquired.

Naruto took the ringed hand away. "Ah yeah...sort of..." He half-admitted with a smile.

He wanted to tell his friend so bad about Sasuke, but didn't how to bring it.

"That's great, man! When will we meet her? Soon I hope?" Shikamaru insisted.

"I-I'll see what I can do about that! She's quite shy and all...haha!" Naruto eluded.

"Does Uchiha know her?" Shikamaru continued his interrogation; he was quite good for that.

"Y-yeah..." Naruto simply said.

"That's not fair! Choji and I are your best buddies aren't we?" Shikamaru accused.

"Uchiha sort of lives with me, so it can't really be avoided, you know..." Naruto explained.

Shikamaru thought for a minute.

"Then invite her at your place tonight, and we're coming too!"

"Hey! Don't decide for others! I'm not sure she'll agree...and Uchiha won't be happy about it either!"

"I don't care, it's happening tonight and that's all! See you tonight, 8PM?"

Naruto didn't have time to agree to it, Shikamaru had left too fast.

"Man...What am I gonna do...?" Naruto worried.

He went right home, hopeful to see Sasuke, but no one was there yet.

Naruto tried to come up with an excuse for his friends but didn't find one.

At 7:30PM, Sasuke came back after his part-time job at a convenient store.

"Tadaima!" he said while taking off his shoes.

"Okaeri..." Naruto replied in a muffled voice.

Sasuke went up to Naruto to kiss him.

"Is something wrong?" He asked, sensing his boyfriend wasn't feeling well.

Naruto looked up at him. "Um, Shikamaru and Choji are coming here in half an hour."

"That's fine with me!" Sasuke reassured.

"Yeah I know but... They are sort of coming here to meet my 'girlfriend'..." Naruto confessed sheepishly.

Sasuke's eyes widened and he burst in laughter.

"Hey it's not funny! What do I do now?"

"Hahaha! Well this going to be fun!" Sasuke laughed. He stopped when he saw Naruto's worried face. "Don't worry... Just tell them she couldn't make it or something."

"Yeah... Damn this is tiring!" Naruto exclaimed, letting himself fall on their sofa.

He lied there silently, staring at the ceiling. Sasuke walked up to him and sat on the couch. He lifted Naruto up a little and laid his head on his lap, caressing his blond hair.

"We could just tell them the truth..." Sasuke said.

Naruto went on one of his elbows and raised his face to look at Sasuke.

"I don't want to! N-Not yet anyway...!" Naruto disagreed.

"They will find it out eventually, Naruto. I think it would be better if found out directly from us..." Sasuke insisted.

"I know... You're right." Naruto complied.

Seeing Naruto's worried face urged Sasuke to kiss him. He bent over and kissed Naruto tenderly.

The latter responded, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's neck.

Sasuke lied down next to Naruto as they continued kissing; he pulled Naruto's shirt up and started brushing his torso and hips. Naruto wriggled under his touch, moaning.

Sasuke put his hand on Naruto's crotch and was about to unzip his jeans when they heard a throat clearing sound.

Turning their heads sideways at in a synchronized movement, they saw that Shikamaru and Choji stood there, in their entrance way.

"What... are you doing...?" Shikamaru quizzed, visibly puzzled.

Naruto jump out of the couch, panicking; Sasuke stood up, unfazed.

Naruto's friends were looking at them as if they had seen aliens.

"I-it's not what you think, um...We..." Naruto tried to explain.

"You were kissing..." Shikamaru stated.

"Good observation!" Sasuke mocked.

"Sa... Uchiha! Stop!" Naruto pleaded. He turned towards his friends. He lowered his head. "I'm sorry..."

"About what...?"

"I... Uchiha and I are... we are..." Naruto stuttered.

"Together!" Sasuke finished.

Shikamaru and Choji stared at each other.

"You live together, we know that!" Choji said.

"No, I mean we are a... c-couple!" Naruto blurted out.

Sasuke looked at Naruto, he was proud his boyfriend could finally say it.

"Couple? You're joking right? You said you had a girlfriend!" Shikamaru pointed.

"He does. I'm his girlfriend!" Sasuke revealed.

Naruto scowled at him.

"But you're 2 men..." Choji commented. "How do you even...?"

"Like this!" Sasuke said. He grabbed Naruto by the neck and kissed him.

Naruto resisted and pushed him off. "Stop it!"

He turned towards his friends.

"You know my secret now! I'm sorry if I disappoint you..."

"You have nothing to apologize for Naruto!" Sasuke snapped. "If they have a problem with us, well... too bad for them!"

"We never said that!" Shikamaru clarified. "It's just weird, that's all!"

"You better get used to it fast then, because it's not going to change!" Sasuke growled.

"I guess not... Come on Choji, let's go." Shikamaru said coldly.

Naruto's friends left and didn't looked back.

Uzumaki fell on his knees crying.

"I thought they'd understand...! I was so stupid!"

Sasuke kneeled next to him and hugged him.

"They'll come around, don't worry. They're just too shocked right now."

"But what if they don't..." Naruto sniffled

"Remember how my parents were uneasy at the beginning?"

"Yeah..."

"It will be the same for those 2 idiots." Sasuke reassured. "Give them some time..."

"Yeah..." Naruto nodded.

Sasuke had this power to calm Naruto down when in doubt; it had been the case since the beginning of their tutoring lessons. That's why he had fell in love with the Uchiha boy 2 years before: he made Naruto feel confident about himself.

Shikamaru and Choji, after a few weeks of silence, eventually accepted our 2 heroes' relationship, which made Naruto extremely happy.

Like they had promised each other in their 2nd year of high school, on that White Day, Naruto and Sasuke stayed together for the rest of their lives.
