As Lazuli was half-asleep, the knocking on her door made her realize she was sprawled out on her bed. She got up and opened the door with bags under her eyes. "Hello?" she asked groggily. "Who's there?" A girl then responded, with a yell, "Oh dammit! It's the new girl! Guys, hide all your books" Lazuli was extremely confused. What books? A younger-looking girl walked out of the room, rubbing her eyes and a reddened face. "Ori, come back here. NOW!" an older girl screamed. It looked to be Ori's older sister. “Come back, idiot!” another girl screamed in the distance. Ori began to run faster. Lazuli paused for a moment, wiped her eyes and ran after Ori. “Ori, wait!” she yelled, running down the hall. “What’s all the racket?!” a professor shouted from the teachers’ sector. But Lazuli continued running. Eventually, Ori stopped as she was tired. She collapsed to the ground. Lazuli sat beside her. “Hey, Ori.” she said calmly. Ori was a bit shorter than Lazuli. She had short, black hair, pale skin, and dark eyes. “You..y-you...just transferred here,” Ori spoke, shivering. “Yes. I did. How about you?” Lazuli responded. “I don’t...remember,” she said, looking down. This poor girl. Lazuli looked up at her and smiled. She said happily: “It’s okay! You’re gonna be fine. Let’s go study in my room!” she smiled and tilted her head. Ori slowly looked at Lazuli. “Thank you~...” she said. It caught Snowtwill of guard. “Y-you’re welcome!” she exclaimed quickly. A shadowed figure slowly approached.
