If one cannot survive, they won't. That's the rule of Survival of the Fittest. An albino fawn cannot blend in with the foliage, so they will inevitably be hunted mercilessly. Children who are pampered and not taught to live for themselves will have a short life when they are left to fend for themselves in the real world. Seeking help, getting opinions, learning; they're all fundamentals needed to carry on. When times are rough, to push through is the strongest weapon to have. If one is too weak to live or relies too much on others, the end is nigh. Poverty, starvation, drought, natural disasters, war. All of which take lives indiscriminately. To survive is up to fate. Death is, and always will be, out of the hands of anything in the natural world. All one can do is survive. But to survive, what of it? What happens next? What is survival and why is it needed? What can be accomplished to survive only for the inevitable to come to pass? No matter what what befalls you, and no matter how many times you get back up, death always awaits. In the end, it can not be escaped by anyone, no matter what they accomplish or how much money they have. The one thing that connects all life forms, no matter the differences, is death. So why do people try so hard to escape it? Something that makes everything equal, why is it so feared? The fear of the unknown, what will happen, or how the end will come? It may vary. Death is the one 'truth' in this world. No matter how pretty, how rich, or how lucky someone is, the end is nigh. The time may come sooner rather than later, but it will come. To answer the question, why do people try to escape death? The answer is an arbitrary one. It cannot be answered. No not easily, but not at all. To provide for one's children, to accomplish a goal, to find love, to experience life and what it has to offer. Reasons and answers can be found everywhere but they're not finite, there is no limit to reasons just as there is no reason to death.
